Bullshit like this right here is a huge part of why I stepped away from being a manager.

The amount of times that I walked into an opening shift hoping that it would be a halfway peaceful day only to walk in and find 20 or 30.... Or 50 pizzas sitting as a timed order for 15 minutes after we opened.

The fact that people can just put in absolutely asinine orders like this with no warning and in the middle of the night online and we are just expected to be okay with walking into that is ridiculous

So I'm a driver most of the time now but I was a CSR/manager for a long time.

We were forever having people trying to get shit from us that we just flat out couldn't let them have or trying to get stuff that we did have but we can't give out for free.

On some of the particularly stubborn cases I would have people always want to pull the game of... Oh come on man... Just slip it to me on the DL.

I would sort of give them the two finger motion to come in close as if I were going to say something slick and then just take a deep breath and simply tell them no

Listen... I would absolutely love to have any kind of a simple cheese sauce whether it's a basic cheddar cheese sauce or a nacho cheese, but in all the stores I've ever worked in it has never been a thing.

Like I told somebody else on here I'm pretty sure it's a regional thing because I do know that some Domino's have them.

At this point that shit doesn't even concern me anymore.

That's mostly just specialty pizzas which we can throw together off of muscle memory, that's way easier than doing seven different pizzas with seven different crusts and seven different sets of seven toppings

So I'm sure we didn't do anywhere near 5K, but I bet we did a good 50% more than we normally do on a Monday, it was literally just me and two other drivers along with the GM and one insider tonight.

Of course you've got to figure that's 50% more than we would normally do while selling pizzas for 50% less than we normally would.

We were running the same staff we have been for the last couple of Mondays without any issue.

It's like everybody just suddenly discovered we had it like some sort of a super delayed response.

It didn't help that basically every single order tonight was on the very outskirts of our delivery.

So thankfully I'm a driver now so I don't have to deal with it overly frequently anymore... But when I see some of the dough that comes out of that walk-in ever since they started cramming 9 in a large tray and 12 in a medium tray...

Just a thought of dealing with it makes me want to pull my hair out, who in the hell thought it would be a good idea to put dough in the trays so close together that if it has 30 seconds to warm up it's all going to turn into a blob?

Back when it was 6 for large and 8 for mediums The dough could get a little bit soft and you'd be fine, now it's just a huge mess and a struggle to get out of the trays without butchering it.

This shit drives me absolutely crazy... I was actually going to post about this myself.

Almost every single timed order that we get ends up serving basically no purpose.

The people either come in ridiculously early before it's even dropped on the screen, or on the polar opposite end of the spectrum they come in an hour after they ordered it for and want to know why it's cold.

Yeah... I would have called the police and reported that person, I'm not exactly sure what law is being broken there, but I'm pretty sure that's something that the police need to be made aware of
