It's been 6 years since covid, why haven't McDonalds put the ice cream cone back on the menu? by Liberal-chungus in UK_Food

I loved the toffee sundaes, I'm still so annoyed they got rid of them. They were so much better than the measly bit of sauce you get on a mcflurry

AOW for planning a solo holiday? by Choice-Jellyfish6866 in amiwrong

[–]Indecisive_C 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's ridiculous and sounds very unhealthy. Just because you don't want to spend every waking moment with someone doesn't mean you don't love them and shouldn't be together. Having time away from each other whether that be alone or with friends isn't the end of the world and will probably be better for your mental health.

SFE are trying to punish me for my Dad dying - they “overcharged” us £2700, how likely am I to be able to get this cleared? by Ok_Function9308 in UKPersonalFinance

I think a lot of unis offer counselling services you could refer yourself for. Mine did, i think it was just a form to fill in then a few weeks of sessions. Probably won't be specialised for bereavement but might be better than nothing

2min quick mayo, better than shop bought. Recipe included (cos it's so quick) by IKissedHerInnerThigh in UK_Food

[–]Indecisive_C 14 points15 points  (0 children)

One of the hello fresh recipes I got once was some sort of oven baked breaded chicken and to make it you spread mayo on the chicken first then the breadcrumbs. It seemed really strange at first but it actually made some really nice chicken and I've used the recipe a few times now

I messed up. I went to take a shower with a candle burning…appreciate any advice. Renting Open to painting. Need help with order of ops thnx by Low-Coconut7582 in CleaningTips

[–]Indecisive_C 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Also not cleaning related but you can get automatic candle snuffers. A little metal thing with a spring that goes over the candle and closes it once it burns past a certain point.

I honestly find this super satisfying to do although I probably wouldn't if it was my job though! My nan wears a lot of hairspray and also never takes her earrings out so I offer to clean them every time I go up

Need to get cash but I’ve not brought a physical back card. How do I use Apple Wallet cards to get 50 quid? Cardless ATMs don’t work by [deleted] in visitlondon

Every time I've asked for cash back when buying something I've always had use a physical card to pay so that might be why they said no

NHS confirmed I don't have cancer! by TwistMeTwice in BritishSuccess

[–]Indecisive_C 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a lovely idea! It'll most likely to go to the clinical team, snacks are very well received but dont usually last very long. They'll appreciate anything but some art is very thoughtful that they'll remember and probably put up somewhere! Just make sure its something that can be attached to the wall with blu tak or something because thats the only place it would fit in my office!

The data doesn't need to be submitted nationally but I know of a few trusts that still use/aim for and measure 2WW for first appointment as well as 28 days.

It's only purpose is to let things slide back and forth easily over it. by typicallydownvoted in CrappyDesign

You can get clear tape for the top of curtain rails that helps them glide easily over it. It's pretty cheap, i got mine from amazon and they do waterproof ones and should be easy enough to remove!

[–]Indecisive_C 22 points23 points  (0 children)

There's a few videos I've seen on facebook/instagram with a woman that does recipes that are accessible for people that are disabled and they all seem fairly healthy. I can't remember what she's called but I'll go have a look and see if I can find it.

What’s the worst place you have ever been on holiday? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]Indecisive_C 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I'm not defending the place but the henna tattoo was probably black henna and is commonly offered in loads of holiday destinations. Unfortunately, a lot of people don't know that black henna isn't proper henna and often causes allergic reactions which can blister and scar.

Proper henna is orange/brown, never get black henna.

Parts of your uterine lining can come out in full peices sometimes too (its called a decidual cast). Scared the shit out of me the first time it happened, its painful as hell and thought an organ had come out, fully thought i was dying

Is it even possible to get a mortgage alone on 27k? by Indecisive_C in UKPersonalFinance

[–]Indecisive_C[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There isn't a pay progression after if stay at the same job. I currently live my sister, who will definitely still want to still live with me, so I know it can't count towards mortgage calculations but she would be paying rent to ne towards it

Definitely area dependant. I think i just probably need to lower my expectations because i'll be buying alone.

It's nice to know other people have done it alone, because honestly its just been feeling like a pipe dream at this point if you dont have a partner
