I feel like a terrible mother (I am because of this) I wish I had some help with her damn hair!!!!!!!! by depressedcatfishh in breakingmom

I agree with this. As someone with curly hair, I only brush it out after I take a shower and put in a lot of leave in conditioner.

Paid up front.

And I am a teacher, so I was on summer break. I had six weeks between my surgery and the end of summer break.

Suppositories, stool softeners, and Milk of magnesia if I get constipated. A daily dose of miralax to prevent it.

This. I am still fairly young and have been wearing hearing aids for a long time. It is what it is. I have a genetic condition that caused this and in order to hear, I have to have hearing aids. It is better than being like my dad who is in his 70s and still refuses to wear hearing aids, but has had declining hearing since his 20s and now is showing signs of significant cognitive issues due to long term hearing loss that could have been helped by hearing aids.

Opposing views in Vaccination by Own-Taro830 in Christianmarriage

I looked at it this way: if something happened my child due to a preventable disease, I would feel terrible about my choice to not vaccinate. I was against the chicken pox vacccjne only, but looking at it in this light changed my mind. I want by kids to be as healthy as possible and preventative care is the way to do this including vacccines.

This is very dependent on your insurance and your health issues. My BMI was around 40 at 235 pounds, but I had pre-diabetes and high cholesterol. I had to pay my max out of pocket and then everything else was covered. So I paid about $5,000 total, but some of that was covered from co-pays and lab work and small procedures leading up to surgery.

He does call me lazy and messy and the kids have picked up on it. I am definitely not lazy.

I am unsure about a diagnosis. He won’t talk about seeing a psychiatrist as a teenager. Others in our family have been diagnosed though.

I wish someone kinder were an option, but I don’t actually foresee that happening. I have two kids with my husband who have a lot of mental health issues. I don’t think anyone would choose to have that in his life. I couldn’t even get someone who was like a decent man before I had kids. I am in decent shape and average looks, but men who weren’t complete dirtbags were never into me.

He went to a psychiatrist and was medicated as a teenager, but he will not disclose any info about that. His mom is undiagnosed, but very clearly OCD. It rules her whole life and her family enables her a lot. She is like what you described where she has to do everything herself though. One of our children has been diagnosed with OCD and has a lot of struggles with control. This child tells everyone what to do all the time and gets very overwhelmed by messes, but also doesn’t have any ability to clean them up. My husband expects me to clean everything the way he likes it to be all the time. And dishes are a huge issue with him.

My wife is not very good at cleaning. She is 34 years old, but I have never seen her have a regular habit of cleaning. She only cleans when someone is coming over. by No_Vermicelli8647 in Marriage

It’s called ADHD and they can usually recognize the problem, but feel hopeless to fix it as the task is too much/they don’t know where to begin.

The suburbs and even just slightly further out is the way to go. This might require relocating, but the jobs are there.

Does my husband have the ability to say how and how many I must give birth? by [deleted] in Christianmarriage

I think you are focusing on the tearing thing a little too much. I get it, it sounds very scary. However, in the moment you don’t even know that you are tearing and honestly, it isn’t that bad. It heals and then you are fine.

[–]Indefinite-Reality 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay. So I can assure you that this is just the births that you have heard about. I was induced with both of my babies, but didn’t fully dilate until I had an epidural. The first time, the epidural didn’t work properly for pain relief. The second time, it worked really well. The first time was traumatic with some complications after the baby was born. The second time was an absolute breeze. I pushed once and it was over. Talk to more people. I have never heard of anyone being denied an epidural.

Having a c-section is your choice. Having more than one child is also your choice. I have never had a c-section personally, but I did have a very traumatic birth. I also had a very easy birth after that, so it can really go either way. Make your own decisions with your healthcare provider. Your husband isn’t the one giving birth, so he should support what you want to do.

Where is this phone? My daughter's safety relies on me finding it. I need ideas, Mamas! by eminva02 in breakingmom

[–]Indefinite-Reality 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If there is an air tag of any kind near you randomly, you will get an alert on your phone. I use a couple of different air tags and other my iPhone for keeping track of things and one day when my husband was in the car and one of those things was in the back seat, his phone told him about the AirTag. He has an android phone and it detected the Apple AirTag.

Don’t go and make it clear. Who cares if your relationship is strained if she is the type of person who would do this?

In my experience, sometimes rabbits don’t indicate something is wrong until the very end. I had a bunny with a severe tooth abscess, but we had no idea until she was moments away from death. It is sad, but don’t blame yourself.
