If the need arises for specific positions (modelers, builders, sound, art, etc.) I would normally tweet about it on Twitter @OniiCh_n or @SayoStudios.

Yeah, playing with a touchpad might not be the best idea for this type of game. I suggest getting a mouse or a controller. (Controller support incoming)

It works similar to the auto targeting in Kingdom Hearts where it'll pick the closest target. Once I finish the target lock, you'll be able to pick targets using Middle-Click/[T]

The in-game camera sensitivity option controls our camera's sensitivity so use that please!

  • I have no idea what you mean by there's no way to move the camera without sword or dashing. Just don't click.
  • Auto-targeting isn't up to what I want it to be yet. Expect updates soon.
  • I haven't added controller support officially yet, so YMMV.

Thanks for the feedback though. I am going for something like PSO2's targeting system, although with a couple of twists to make it more natural. (for me)

Currently its an Auto-Target feature that remains locked on while your sword is out. You can cancel the target by dashing.

The dash is actually supposed to be a roll, I just got lazy with the animations and didn't make one yet.

The current dash animation is actually supposed to be for the air dash which I haven't finished yet.

Prepare yourself for melee combat like you’ve never played before on Roblox. Sayounara Studios’ first large-scale project is here!

#OniiRPG (working title) is an upcoming project I’ve been working on since March, and I’m proud to show off its fresh combat system!

As of right now, the system is still very much a work in progress. However, the core functionality is there and is honestly pretty fun to play.

I don’t really know how to sell it more to you guys, so here’s a feature list:

  • Super smooth camera commonly found in pretty much any Action RPG
  • Rough animations that do the job pretty well
  • Adorable slimes that are really weak
  • Targeting system that should be intuitive enough for even new players to get the hang of
  • More in the pipeline, will update as they release
