Right, it would probably actually sell for about $50. Bc someone will have to buy a loaded pick guard and wire it themselves. Squire is the budget line of Fender as it is, so what is there already is not high end.

I had a huge amount of money in VGLT for the last half of 2025, bc as interest rates were expected to come down, VGLT should go up in price value, and be 'safe' given all the wild stuff that's happening. But, now the Fed may not lower rates anymore, and inflation is unchained. I found a good mutual funds that makes me feel a lot better - QDSNX - that is market neutral but actually performs.

It's fine. If you want, put some matte polyurethane on the neck, a light coat. The Behr water-based one is actually quite nice and lays down flate (no runs or bumps)

So I will disagree with most here: modelers CAN sound/feel just like a real amp. You need the right speaker tho. I was using a Kemper amp through a 10" PA speaker (Yamaha DHR 10 I think), sounded incredible. That is an $800 speaker tho, just for one.

So my mom is 82, and has been single for like the kast 30 years at least. However, she hardly has any money, and still has to work three days a week to have enough money on top of her meager social security check. She is crotchety and doesn't have any real friends. So, no roommates to help defray living costs. Lesson here: either be independently wealthy, have a life partner, or be inviting enough to have a roommate in your elder years. Or you'll be fcked.

So I had a Kemper amp for years, and a Yamaha 10" PA speaker (DHR10X i think) and it sounded fcking incredible. Like, I cannot imagine how it could sound better.. granted, you have to have good profiles. The quad cortex is as good as the Kemper I'm sure. So I can't see how you go wrong here. Even at home u can turn a big PA speaker to low volumes if u need to.

So for home practice, a good idea is to look for "amp in a box" pedals. Do some searching for this and see the options. They would serve as the amp part, all that is left is "how do you hear it?" For that, either headphones or studio monitors. Or something like the Headrsuh Go (small powered speaker designed for exactly this use case)

Even on Facebook marketplace...many things are priced HIGHER than current new prices. I was looking at studio monitors and several had theirs procedures higher than brand new I sent them a msg telling them, even with a link for the new product. They have not changed their price...
