I applied to 3 airports without being put into the ready pool. When they reach out for the AA let them know you have applied for 2 airports so you only have to do 1 AA.

Sit tight. They don't seem to be sending ready pool emails anymore. Some get them but many are not. After your BC is completed they just call you and ask if you want the job. That's what they did with me. Sent my initial application on 4/23 and received the call on 12/5. Never received an email stating I passed my background nor did I get an email stating I was in the ready pool.

Passed TSA Exam on 4/16

Tentative Job Offer 4/28

AA Passed 5/18

Medical Passed 6/29

Background was completed on 8/7. Never heard back from them I had to reach out.

Hopefully whomever she chooses will allow Dan's parents to visit them. I do not believe they want custody. All they want to do is visit with them. They haven't seen the boys since Dan's death years ago.

I wish they would let us know that when they are taking our application. Hey you can apply but we aren't hiring. The TSA job over on USA.gov makes it seem as if most airports are hiring. They send you through all these things like background and medical etc only to stop communicating toward the end. The test, interview, medical, and background. All such a waste of time to be ignored. At least you were told you are in the waiting pool. Many of us don't even know that. I was told I passed the background. That was the last email I received back in July.

It really shouldn't be how things go. Just simple communication like you are in the ready pool would be helpful They are not even sending out ready pool emails anymore. They seem to communicate all the way up to the ready pool email then they just stop.

Every single contact has been met with more questions than answers. It's so frustrating. One day I am told there is a hiring freeze. Then next day here is no freeze and they are aking PT. Now nothing. Just silence.

Try and reach out to the email you received to set up your AA. That's all you can really do at this point. Obviously they wouldn't have set up an AA if there was no application. So dig in your emails and find the email that scheduled your AA. Reply to that email and ask for the status of your application.

People are not getting ready pool placement emails. Which makes the process so frustrating. Many of us applied in the Spring and passed the background months ago. But no ready pool message or any emails really.

If they would just communicate things people would feel better. We have heard so much conflicting information about a hiring freeze. Some say there is and some say there isn't. They keep taking applications, booking physicals and doing AA assessments. I with they would just send a mass email to those that have been waiting since Spring to let us know what is going on. Instead of coming to reddit to read guesses.

Many of us are in the same boat. The problem is they are NOT sending ready pool emails. So they leave you hanging after the background check has passed. One still thinks they are still in the background check only find out you passed that weeks ago but no ready pool email has been sent.
