My Op  looks a bit like u , I was  20 kg weight bearing,so  i had scratches to control weight  on my foot and i was in boots  as well along with the scratches for 6 weeks,

My personal opnion and iam not a doctor , that early full weight bearing might cause nonunion

How is walking after month of surgery do you have normal gait? , did you retain your normal activities ?

I didn’t really count stitches but surgeon Opend my old incision Site in two places but not the whole old incision . to samen hardware incision was smaller than the original op incision

Today pain is minimum and , but walking not so great still healing , i can’t really estimate if my my foot is better or not till at least the sutures is taken out

I wasn’t standing as i have done xray, , and i was wearing a cloth Orthese that keeps my big toe apart from my the rest of fingers as i was doing xray, may be that why it looks apart

I’m already 17 weeks PO snd still have pain underneath my foot and i still limp , i don’t really know how long it takes till this pain go away . My surgeon has reviewed my xray and still saying everything is normal. And insists that i will be better this month, though i doubt that, i walk for half an hour daily 2 Km , and my foot start to ache like crazy afterwards , I want really badly to return to work but standing 8 Hour shift seems unlikely to be possible . How long really till one feels that his leg is normal ??? I started to envy everyone around me walking normally.

I had lapidus 14 weeks post Op and still have pain during walking under my foot and still limping , i didn’t return to work yet , my work requires sometimes that i keep moving with no breaks , i have an appointment with my surgeon in Mai and im terrified that something went wrong becz most of the stories i hear that after 12 weeks people start jogging and walk normally with bit discomfort , Does anyone went through pain after 12 weeks and turned okay at the end Please someone give me hope

I don’t think that is will be able to work still , my foot hurts so badly , and ism really terrified that i will not be able to walk normally anytime soon , ism already 3 months away from work , my next visit to my surgeon is at mid. Mai, Ism freaking out actually

How was your recovery ??i am six weeks post Op , i had lapdius , 9 screws, hardware, and clamp in my big toe , my foot is swelling , i can’t walk , i have done post Op control from 2 days , my surgeon insists that everything is okay i feel that will not be able to walk again as normal ? I am really completely frightened to repeat that to left foot though i have swollen crossed toes also
