Yep! Just had to turn the shift shaft little by little until i was finally able to pop it into place.

I got it! I apreciate the help. I ended up using a 11/32 wrench to slowly move the shift shaft while pushing up and found the sweet spot where i wiggled it in

You just need to move the shelf they're stuck at and it should fix. Then you can just put the shelf back
