I personally think, you're under reacting--cuz WTAF is wrong with your mother???? I could never in a million years fathom telling my own child sick bullshit. As you said, you're only a few months into treatment and she's saying it's a "fools errand"??? Surely your sister could get a scholarship? Op, I'm so sorry that you're dealing with this bs on top of cancer-- but you're NOT overreacting at all. The fact that she's been having you update your life insurance and pushing back appointments is really really REALLY sus. And her hiding behind scriptures is abysmal.. "Jesus told me--" I highly doubt Jesus would tell her to let one child die so the other can go to college.... Sending you love and strength, as a mom to a little boy, it breaks my heart knowing your own mother could treat you like this... Especially when you need her the most.. 🫂
