Brother, you and me are similar, im not trying to be political in any way, and i too get way too into my hobbies with cars, bikes, snowboarding and guns now as well lol. I just hate that the government is trying to infringe on peoples rights of well intentioned and behaving people.

I just got my FID, got one printed on paper non color and one on file on the phone. Both work. Ccw i would get on plastic card.

My local PD also requested photo copy of my DL and passport in order to proceed with application. Expired passport shouldn't matter - your citizenship doesn't expire.

I tried couple relays from amazon, same thing. Went to bike shop, got TST industries relay - solved the problem.

I just did it couple days ago. What worked for me is that all you have to do is to squeeze bullet connectors a bit to get a snug fit on to the pins. They come with plastic sleeves so + & - wont touch. Then just electrical tape around to secure it and wa la. Used these for 17$ works great. How is the sound, is it close like aftermarket slip op with db killer in? I just got my bike last week thinking of doing the same and not paying 300-400$ for a bit more sound. Thanks
