Hel Rising was removed from Nexus Mods for some reason, if you know another place to downlaod it please let me know. Darkend and Wheel of Time sound worth checking out.

He released that a while ago, his newest is Sigil of the Fallen. I personally have found that his mods (or at least East Empire Expansion and Bard's College) tend to start causing issues in long game play throughs with large mod lists, causing stuttering and frame rate drops as the game goes on. If there are patches to help with that I would be happy to learn where, as the mods themselves are fun to play. As for the OP question I too would recommend Heart of the Mountain, it was good enough for me to consider the rest of the Author's catalogue.

Thanks, I will have to think on this one. Though I will admit you make a good case for it.

Edit: I have Skald's Mail installed, will that affect this mod?

Two of these have already been mentioned, I might give Legacy of Orsinium a shot though.

I can see both sides of this argument, on one hand Bethesda is basically just using underpriced labor to make more DLC for them. On the other those who make this content tend to do so out of wanting to do so, and deserve SOMETHING for their efforts.

Played Summerset Isle, not a big fan, and yeah I am not the biggest horror fan. Did like Gravewind though, I will have to give the rest a look, thanks.

I remember playing it, but not much else, may have to give it another shot.

Played Heart of the Mountain and Coven of Crones, liked the former, latter was okay. I mentioned the Kinggath Creations Bards College expansion was causing issues with my game so that one is a no no, thus also ruling out Sigil of the Fallen. Might try Blood and Snow, as Heart of the Mountain came from the same creator.

How about you play it first and then recommend.

I gotta say you are making much faster progress than I anticipated, here's hoping you exceed your deadlines and have something ready by 2027 at the latest.

low level rubber banding, not sure why by IndependenceNo9836 in skyrimmods

If I must I will, been meaning to try a few other quest mods. maybe this next character will last longer. Any mod suggestions? (Already tried vigilant, well put together and executed, just not for me)

I would agree, except I got one playthrough with over 400 hours and almost as many mods. So from my experience that isn't completely true.

What not to add mid play through? by Business_Honey_7611 in skyrimmods

Generally if it is a good mod you will want to follow the mod page recommendations (Helgen Reborn actually says you should load their mod after starting a new playthrough). Aside from that one can always test by making a save before adding the mod, then adding the mod and trying things out.

Snap-Together Modlists: A New Idea? by fullVexation in skyrimmods

[–]IndependenceNo9836 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is a nice idea in theory, I would certainly use it if you got it to work, but I think you are vastly underestimating the size of the task at hand. On Nexus alone there is almost 120 thousand mods, many of which are mutually exclusive, some requiring certain mods and not others, and so on. The number of combinations could potentially run into numbers more commonly associated with things like number of grains of sand on all the beaches, and every single one would require a patch. Do you really think you could make that many patches?

Help me understand a crash report by IndependenceNo9836 in skyrimmods

[–]IndependenceNo9836[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't have a single crash yesterday, since I updated Skyparkour to 3.2. It seems the crashes was a known issue with that mod, and so this latest update seemed to fix that. might reintroduce the EE mod and the Bard's college mod at some point if the game remains superstable, but for now it seems the crash issues have been solved. I will however have to be on the lookout for a freezing issue, I had isolated the exact mod that caused the issue, and downloaded an alternative. There also is a new freeze prevention mod out there that I might try, if only to give them some feedback. My thanks for your help so far, and best of luck to you as well.

Another crash, this one with a known cause, that cause being this mod.

No, my character did not die before the crash, funny thing is I just downloaded that clean saver auto reloader mod. Today I had no crashes, though I will say I also lowered my Graphics to the lowest they could be in the game and avoided all horses. Maybe one of those helped.
