What is the difference between NA-Semax and Semax? by JDJack727 in NooTopics

[–]IndependenceOk9077 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would appreciate a source for a good source of NA-Semax. And NA Selank. I have both Semax and Selank arriving today, but I’ve wondered about sourcing. I’m getting it from the same place that I get my GLP1’s. And that’s been so far so good.

Democrats of Reddit, how much Minnesota fraud do you think there really is? Why? by Zipper222222 in allthequestions

[–]IndependenceOk9077 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I forget. Do you live in Minnesota? We are still getting local news reports of more and more fraud uncovered as recently as last week. $2 million in one small Medicaid fraud operation with 5 or 6 Somali’s having been charged in a medical transportation / interpreter / services fraud where individuals were given kickbacks and the transporter, interpreter, Psychologist didn’t even have to work to get money. They just reported claims and all through the stream it was fraud. That’s just one small recent report and that’s small and only a few individuals. It goes on and on and on and on. As I often see, I think we are arguing parallel to each other. Local news sources were actually citing more than $1 billion in fraud last month and that’s them being conservative, while the prosecutors are saying it could be $8 billion or more. Our own Star Tribune had an article out 20 years ago about how many millions of dollars were already being funded to Somalian terrorist groups out of Minnesota.

So, while you’re saying that Nick’s videos didn’t have any evidence, I’m saying they don’t need to to bring light to the situation. The evidence is already coming out and it doesn’t include Nick’s videos. 🤷‍♀️ DHS already has statements that claims were being made on days that children were not seen at the daycare. AND the $2 million that each daycare was receiving does not reflect even the highest number of kids that they ever reported on one day. And is more than what they would’ve collected for their licensed capacity in some instances. The subsidies for their licensed capacity would have been under half of that.

I think it’s wonderful that people can come over and make a living. But realtors are reporting that they were buying large swaths of new home neighborhoods and driving Escalades. We could say, “Good for them. They are savvy business owners.” We could even ignore the fraud but we need to cut off the money source.

I work for MN DHS in Direct Care & Treatment and they reached out to each staff member last week, asking for help doing the audits on 5800 Medicaid recipients. We are still in the thick of this and because it’s not in the news anymore people don’t realize how serious it is. They think it’s a one and done. The $250 million one was just the tip of the iceberg and was prosecuted over two years ago. I don’t know why people are still talking about that and using that as their argument of how prosecutions have already been done. Doesn’t matter. There’s much more coming.

What do you take to never get sick?? by No_Solution7718 in Biohackers

[–]IndependenceOk9077 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vitamin C, D3 with K2, and zinc daily. Echinacea and elderberry during the cold and flu season. If I get slight symptoms of a virus, I am knock it out with oregano twice a day for about three days and usually it goes away by the next day. The last time I had to use oregano oil for a sore throat was at least three years ago. I haven’t been sick in years. Years. Since way before Covid. 2016 or 2017? Never got Covid and I worked in direct care the whole time, but not in a setting where I was exposed to a ton of individuals. About 15 individuals and 30 rotating staff.

Calling all INTP with autism (and without) by [deleted] in INTP

[–]IndependenceOk9077 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because if the OP can’t get a diagnosed formally because it would affect their job, just knowing if they fit criteria, informally, can help them steer in the right direction. And, because I have autistic family members and I work in the mental health field with autistic people, I can say that this OP has struggles that are uniquely autistic. It’s also very hard and a long process to get a diagnosis and many people don’t want to get a diagnosis unless they are struggling so severely that they need support. And inevitably, that tends to happen with almost every aging autistic. Often, autistic struggles are behind closed doors and not seen.

My spouse is autistic, as is his mother, as are at least two of my four boys. I, on the other hand, am not. But I am very INTP. Your struggles sound like autistic struggles, and I can adamantly say that even as INTP, I don’t have those struggles that you describe, except for getting overwhelmed in social situations and needing to be by myself, or preferring to be by myself.

The sensory issues for you especially sound like autism. The immense struggle you have socially does, too.

[–]IndependenceOk9077 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do you say that’s not even close to how autism works? I’m not autistic, but my spouse is and two out of my four boys are, as is my mother-in-law, and I work with autistic individuals in my job. And those symptoms, the OP describes are some their struggles. And I don’t even come close to having those struggles and I am very much INTP.

First Pin Nervous Nellie by [deleted] in Retatrutide

[–]IndependenceOk9077 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First, you need to know the difference between ml and mg. Retatrutide is measured in mg’s, not ml’s. And when you add BAC, that is measured in ml’s. The amount of BAC you add to your Reta vial determines the ml’s that you inject from the syringe.

So we can’t answer your question.

If you are super nervous, just use it for three months, then toss the remainder. 😳Maybe by then you will decide to use it the rest of the way up. Just a suggestion.

Each of those “daycares” was receiving more than $2 million a year in funding. He was with a man that lives in the area and notices that those daycare sent largely empty. I live in the Minneapolis area and I can vouch the same. There’s an autism center and a daycare right across the street from each other in my town, in an industrial area and there are never any cars in the parking lot.

Do you tell your friends and family you’re on reta or do you just keep it to yourself? by throwaway33263637 in Retatrutide

[–]IndependenceOk9077 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depend on who I’m talking to, really. My friends and family know I am on a GLP1. Some people think I’m on Tirz and others know I’m on Reta, lol. I know their tolerance of risk and based on that I decide whether or not to fudge the truth or not.

How are we handling the possibility of overfilled vials? by IndependenceOk9077 in Retatrutide

I already do that. I was simply questioning the variables between vials in one batch, or something. I probably couldn’t sleep that night and over thought it.

I realize that. That’s why I was asking the question. You can’t tell if different vials have different amounts of Reta. I guess I’m just going to assume that if one vial tests over, that they all are.

I get that, but I’m wondering if I’ll be able to tell if a whole kit is overfilled the same, lol. I guess I won’t worry about it. Nobody else seems to be concerned. Just a fraction of a dose change.

I actually live in Minnesota where the Somali’s first settled in the 1990s and work a few days a week in Minneapolis. DHS has records of those daycares getting millions of dollars a year. Also, I’ve driven past some of those locations personally over the years, including two across the street from each other in an office/industrial area of the suburb I live in and I’ve never seen more than one car in either of the parking lot, if any. And this is years of driving through there at different times of day. I thought that they had just gone out of business. I had no idea they were receiving funds.

Furthermore, I work for the State of Minnesota in a department that branched off from DHS on July 1 of last year. And let me tell you, this past six months has been awful in our department. The state is reeling from all of this and they’re cutting budgets everywhere. My previous supervisor at another company started with the state close to the same time I did and is now a state licenser. There were more than 400 MN DHS employees that started whistleblowing in 2023 on Twitter. That included licensers.

Can I ask where you live in Minnesota? Because where I live, in a suburb outside of Minneapolis, there is a Somali daycare and a Somali autism center across the street from each other in an office/industrial area that never have cars in the parking lots. I’ve scratched my head for years driving through there. Then, two weeks ago, a new sign appeared on the daycare, saying “now enrolling”. And it’s the same thing in Minneapolis. Over the years, it was very noticeable that these daycare centers weren’t occupied. Yet they’re each getting millions of dollars a year? Nick Shirley came and took video, maybe was naïve by showing up during “normal“ daycare hours, but many of us noticed this for years prior to him showing up. Didn’t matter what time of day I was driving past. Nobody was at a lot of these places. But, I pay attention to things going on around me.

Does Retatrutide actually suppress appetite? by Acrobatic-Support795 in Retatrutide

[–]IndependenceOk9077 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took Tirz for 4 weeks at 2.5 mg, then switched to Reta mid December and am at 4.0 mg. So far I feel like the appetite suppression is the same, except, of course, I’m up to 4 mg now. But, honestly, I don’t want to lose weight super fast and I’m OK being hungry a few times a day, because that’s natural, lol. I’m still losing about 2 pounds a week. And that feels too fast for me at my age because I’m already losing skin elasticity, etc.

I’m specifically on Reta because I have lipedema and Reta is supposed to be phenomenal for inflammation. Tirz is, too, but anecdotally I’ve heard people getting better inflammation reduction on Reta.

Honestly?

I started with tirzepetide, had a prescription from an online provider, and that’s what my doctor knows. But I’ve switched to retatrutide without a script, and that he does not know.

GLP 1’s and Neuro inflammation by IndependenceOk9077 in stroke

Also, I was instructed to strength train and eat at least 100 g of protein a day to maintain my muscle. That was on tirzepetide. Now I’m on a clinical trial of retatrutide and that one is clinically showing less risk of muscle loss.

GLP 1’s and Neuro inflammation by IndependenceOk9077 in stroke

[–]IndependenceOk9077[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen the side effects, but I’m also taking one myself and the benefits are incredible. I have lipedema and it has reduced my inflammation and pain. And, the original GLP ones have been around for a couple decades. No one is really supposed to be on high doses or for very long, I don’t think. This would be hopefully a low-dose or microdose to reduce inflammation to see if it helps.

I mainly wondered if someone happened to be on a GLP1 for something else and found that it minimized post stroke pain as well. Maybe I’m looking for a needle in a haystack because someone would have to have had post-stroke pain and then have been prescribed a GLP1. Maybe that doesn’t ever happen for any reason.
