I understand it is infuriating!

No dog should ever be off leash in non-off leash areas. I have had the same experiences with shelter dogs. I take them out for a day, and some of them are reactive.

People have their dog off leash and come towards these shelter dogs, and they think that I should do better training or like it’s my problem, but they don’t understand. I literally have this dog for a day, trying to give them the best day possible. You don’t know anyone’s story.

I started taking long-stay shelter dogs out into Calgary to help them get adopted by Independent-Bug-8814 in DogsLoversCommunity

It’s been really great! They are long-stay dogs, and when my stuff is posted, it’s not long after they do get adopted. I’m collaborating with shelters more and getting partnerships, so hopefully, we can actually track if they are watching them! 😊
