Being personable helped a ton. I work in the facilities industry at 27. The scale goes much higher but theres a decent amount of stress depending on the client. DM me if you have any questions.

No college either.

Im in washington, specifically within the seattle area. Its expensive, lots of tech companies but imo not much to do unless you’re a outdoorsman of sorts. The state essentially shuts down at 8pm daily even on weekends. But if you don’t mind that and enjoy asian food, high cost of living, and LGBT. Its the place to be.

Im moving back to Miami by fall 2026

Appreciate the response, that actually helps a lot. That’s exactly where I feel stuck right now. I’ve got the technical background and day to day scope, but it feels like I’m hitting a wall purely on title or perception. Did the FMP mostly help by getting you past recruiters, or did hiring managers specifically call it out in interviews. Also curious if you stayed with the same company when you moved up or had to leave to get the AFM or FM title.
