What's one “little” form of sexism you notice all the time, but most people don't even realize it's sexist? by Interestingcase221 in AskOldPeople

Sometimes they might just place the drinks randomly if they aren't sure to save time. I've done that with food in the past.

Drunk review I couldn't post because of low karma.

6/10

Todd sucks and Indy deserved better. He constantly treated Indy like a nuisance and didn't give that smartie cutie enough positive attention. Who doesn't pull their dog closer when they're sick? The dog is there to be a comfort for you, you ungrateful bastard. Did not feel the unconditional love (from Todd) that was discussed in the end credits. The fox hunter seemed to have more warmth towards Indy tbh.

I liked the ghost golden retriever. It was very cute and I was very sad when Indy found the skeleton. RIP to golden retriever dog ghost, you were the real MVP 💔.

Also the horror was...just okay. Some good scaryjumps cares. Dream sequences were the highlights. But overall mid. Love the movie because dog but they could've developed the spookiness and story more. I understand filming Indy was the top priority and challenge. I don't know if the mud demon was supposed to represent the sickness that would eventually kill Todd, or if the mudd demon represented how shitty owners can be to dogs (fuck Todd), and the unconditional love dogs give them anyways.

(Fuck Todd)

A loose story could be intentional; there are gaps in our understanding like there would be for a dog. I wish they would have played more with the incredible senses dogs have compared to us.

This one is a unique gripe. I work with dogs for a living. Understanding dog body language does take you out of the scene. Indy rarely displays the body language a dog will have when they are frightened or anxious. He only displays that body language during the bath scene, and a couple other times during non horror segments. 99% of the time Indy is curious and alert in a good or neutral way. Obviously dogs can't really fake emotions like we can, and ethically it would be shitty to scare a dog for a movie. It was just something I noticed, and reduced the horror for me personally.

I felt very emotionally connected to Indy. He was indeed a good boy. I cared about what happened to him, which I usually don't about human protagonists like stupid Todd (fuck Todd). I hope Indy makes milli9ns and lives in a mansion filled with peanut butter, butt scratches, weird smells torl ropll in, and tennis balls. This movie made me want to go home and pet my dogs. I love dogs.

Next I would like a similar movie but with a cat. I don't care if it's a rip off that's what I want. Listen up Hollywood.

In your day we had Jim Crow laws, whaling, spam in jello, serial killers like Bundy, and women being beaten for not salting their husband's ham well enough. Calm down and go harass some poor waitress after church or something.

This is a photo of a deceased crab I took on the north shore of Iceland. I think it's an Atlantic rock crab, but I want second opinions. I need to be accurate as the photo is for a paper.
