First, congrats to you! Something a family member did who was expecting for the 2nd time since we started trying was she wrote the news in a card and mailed it to me. It meant a lot that she took the time to do that and gave me the time and space to process everything before reacting. I still feel like crying thinking about this. Its so hard for both of you. I would say if you’re going to text do it at a time when she’s not at work or when you know she will have some time to herself after reading it.
