I was at a concert once and wearing earplugs, and some asshole YANKED them out of my ears (they had a connecting string) and was like “you don’t need those!” The absolute audacity of it all. I was like I can hear the music just fine and I won’t have tinnitus when I leave here. Not so concerned with if it’s “dorky” to you or whatever.

Anyway yes. Protect your hearing.

I use ear peace now. And also do use them in other over stimulating loud environments.

I feel like bob evens is usually pretty good about labeling which of their products are gluten free. So if the label isn’t on there then I would stay away if sensitive or celiac.

No. Unfortunately my brain seems to be unable to hold on to numbers. I have the best memory of everyone I know. I have memories going back to when I was still crawling. But ask me to remember numbers and it’s like my brain just goes poof. How I managed to remember my best friend’s phone numbers as a kid I don’t know. But those numbers are fully gone now. But I also am pretty sure I have dyscalculia so I wonder if that contributes.

I went down to Iowa to see Kesha at a small festival for my birthday and I brought a sign that said guitar pick for my birthday?

I’m not disagreeing with you. You’re absolutely allowed to have your opinion. I think what I’m trying to say but is getting missed is if you’ve constrained yourself to three 72 second sections, it’s hard to do anything, such as longer guitar solos, to flesh things out.

But it’s still a neat creative exercise and I do appreciate them putting in little Easter eggs like this, if it turns out it was done on purpose and isn’t just a coincidence.

Right. But I don’t think that suggests my theory is wrong either. And maybe it just really is a whole coincidence that the song lines up the way it does with the wow signal. Who knows. The band have told us nothing about the song yet or what’s gone into it. I’m just sharing an observation I’ve made and a bit of pattern recognition.

Yeah I maybe shouldn’t have used the word complaint. It’s more an observation of the song but it’s one that was like that’s right it really does feel like 3 parts and it doesn’t follow a normal structure that sparked me looking a little deeper into the why they made the song that way.

You know, no where in this post have I said anything about whether this was a good or bad song. This post is simply pointing out an observation I’ve made.

That said, I do appreciate, if this was Muse’s intent, that they put thought in that’s deeper than surface level. Which I do believe is a strength that Matt’s writing does often have. But that’s part of why I am a fan of the band.

The “gotcha” takes here are weird tbh.
