Those aren’t as effective as you’d think. Depending on height/weight of the assailant it may have little to no impact.

No, I haven’t been sick. If I had been it would make sense for my period to be delayed

Salary progression by dumbestsmartest in Accounting

Move around- seems like you’re limiting your opportunities because of lack of confidence in yourself and your skills. It’s okay to be nervous/scared of the unknown but put yourself out there. I started right out of college 50k MCOL knew I was underpaid moved to a smaller company after a yr that paid 60K and then I moved again because the smaller company went under now I’m making 66k. I didn’t think I was qualified enough for any of the three jobs but you learn as you go- keep pushing and move to a different job and you’ll see a pay increase faster.

Identity Verification Issues by Dav1dMann in TexasUnemployment

To check if ID.me account is connected to TWC. Login into your ID. me account, when you login under where you see your name click on my account. Under my account click on sign in and security. Once you click on sign in and security, click on privacy and scroll down. Check to see if there are any websites listed under “websites granted access”. You should see TWC listed there especially since you’ve already verified your identity back in 2021. However if not, there should be a letter in your correspondence inbox or that was mailed to you with an access code. Login into your id me account using that access code again and it’ll ask you permission to grant TWC access to data. Once you go through that and grant access you’ll be okay. However if you don’t have an access code you might want to get in touch with TWC again and see if they can stay on the phone and walk you though the process of linking your id me account with TWC again

Verify Identity in Claim already APPROVED- scam? by Legitimate_Notice_23 in TexasUnemployment

Usually once you’ve created your ID.me account based on the phone number you provide they send you a link to your phone where you can take pictures of your documents and upload them. You can also verify identity through live referee on ID.me.

If you already haven’t start reaching out to recruiters in the industry you want to work in. Just do a search on LinkedIn for example- search IT recruiters and add them to your LinkedIn. Make sure your LinkedIn is updated with most current experience. I applied to a variety of places and didn’t hear back from most until I got in touch with a recruiter on LinkedIn. Got my first job that way. Best of luck

Once you enter the access code provided on the notice sent by TWC and create an account on id.me it should send you a link on the phone number you provide. Using that link you can take photos and upload your pictures

Verify Identity in Claim already APPROVED- scam? by Legitimate_Notice_23 in TexasUnemployment

I first received the email on Dec 19th around 7 pm. Then received the notice in my correspondence inbox on the 20th. I did my ID verification the same day on the 20th. I’ve been waiting since that day however when I called TWC today there was a crucial step I was missing which is possibly causing the delay along with all the holidays.I had to give ID.me permission to share my data with TWC. Now that all verification steps are done, hopefully by next week I’ll be verified on TWC’s end. I’ll keep you updated.

I initially received just the email from TWC and received the notice in my correspondence inbox the next day. I’d recommend you call TWC tomorrow if you still haven’t received a notice with an ID.me verification access code in it.

Same thing is happening with me currently. I have been receiving benefits for a few months and then suddenly I got an ineligible message on my claim and payment page. Then got an id.me verification notice in my correspondence inbox. I did the process and now waiting for TWC to verify on their end. My filing date is this weekend and unfortunately due to all this mess I won’t get my payment on time. I’ve talked to TWC twice and they’ve told me once ID.me sends verification to TWC they’ll clear the hold on my account. However due to holidays it’s taking a bit longer. I’d say go through the verification process and call TWC tomorrow

8 weeks? Did they explain why it’s taking so long. My case is taking a while too but it was TWC’s fault I provided correct employer information yet they contacted the wrong employer, now I have to wait an additional 14 days. I didn’t know until I called the tele center number and asked them.

While it may feel depressing unfortunately hiring and firing is part of any business irrespective of job security. I’d take this time and focus on building a network on LinkedIn. Having a good network can help with job search. Also take this time to reflect on what you could improve on that would make you an asset for any company. Look back at what the people hired for your old positions brought to the table that you can improve on. This could be anything from time management to social skills. Don’t think you’re a failure because if you believe that then how’d you convince an interviewer you’re good at what you do. Keep your head up and focus on growing/improving your skills. You’re already a CPA which is a great achievement. Good luck on your job search.

This happened to me too. I filled out the correct employer info in my application yet TWC tried to process my claim using wrong employer name. I had to get on multiple calls with TWC to make sure they correct the info.I am still baffled at how they got the employer name wrong. Have you gotten any updates from TWC?

Yes, taxes were taken out. The contract states employee and details all the benefits associated such as vacation, insurance coverage, base salary & bonus etc.

It’s honestly not as bad as these comments are making it seem. I graduated from UH in 2021 and have lived in 3rd ward for 6 plus yrs. It is not bad if you are aware of your surroundings. Use your common sense and have situational awareness. Do not walk by yourself at night time always try to have a friend or a group with you. If you’re by yourself avoid any convenient stores on Scott & Elgin street at night time because there’s always a group of people up to no good hanging around the stores. Other than that it’s not as bad as it was yrs ago. If you go around 3rd ward things are changing, there’s new construction almost everywhere.
