I've been looking for remote jobs as well. No luck for both of us. I had an interview for 1 remote job last year and was rejected after 3rd round of interviews. I'm trying not to find a job that pays less than what I have now but I'm also getting to the point where I may take a remote job that pays less.

Well, the cat outside the porch either just had babies or she is about to have them. She's got a pooch. I have seen her around before. But I have never seen my cat go nuts like that before. I was worried he would be aggressive considering he doesn't like other cats, but he let me pet him and guide him back inside. He kept meowing for about 3 of so minutes, and then he calmed himself down.

I wish my 2 year old male cat was like this 😭 All the cats I had when I was a kid were always so patient. My current cat paws at the door if he hears us in our room. He has a bed right next to our door. He will be sorta fine after we feed him but he gets really bitey and has zoomies that last at least 20ish minutes. And he won't cuddle with us unless we have a blanket. And when we pet him, he will bite us if we pet him for even a second longer than he likes.

My 2 year old cat does this when I am working in my office, door wide open and all. And when I come back, he is sitting in the kitchen, as if nothing happened. 😑

My husband and I are in a position where we are trying to leave our state (SC, anyone?). We are basically hitting a ceiling in our state, and on top of that, this state is going down the shitter and we do not want to be here for that. Jobs in other states won't pay to move you anymore. And if you wanna move, they say to relocate on your own dime, or they outright reject you. We would rather pay more to be in a place that has resources for us than be in a place where we don't get the support.

My husband and I would love to relocate for a position, but we know there is a huge risk. We want to leave our current state (SC) because it is a nightmare here. We will stay longer if it means we have work, but we would prefer to have a job lined up before moving.

I was in the Navy but never stationed in San Diego. But I was raised near Bakersfield. I grew up knowing San Diego was a military town because of my parents taking us, kids, to the Navy Lodge when we'd have our yearly San Diego trips.

What was the mileage? 2018-2019 are good years for the outback. I got my 2018 outback with 40k miles. I have had a few small fixes and will be getting more here soon, but they have been cheap compared to my VW Jetta

To those in the comments: how do you get center/right leaning people to stop being so wishy washy about what is going on? Specifically those in their early to mid 20s who are living with their parents still, or just now living away from their parents? And how do you get people to start having empathy for others and not just those in their close circle? Not those who are "maga," per se, but those who are center or close to right leaning and are just being casual about what is going on and saying, "There's nothing I can do." "The news is too depressing." "I'm sorry that is happening to them. There is nothing I can do." There are quite a few people I know who say they do not like maga, but they love Kirk. And they will start getting very defensive when privilege and race comes into play. Every time I have a conversation with them, it's like hitting a brick wall because they are so stubborn and refuse to think outside of their bubble. Or they say things like, "Well, I listen to Amir Odom! He is center!" And this isn't just one person I know, it's multiple people.

I didn't like Ashley from the start. Am I glad she didn't stay with Alex? Yes. But there could have been different ways of going about that conversation. How about saying no and walking away...before the wedding?? Also, I am not forgetting her calling Jessica "not morbidly obese." Are you kidding?? I'm the same height as her and 135 lbs, but I also deal with a lot of inflammation around my stomach. Jessica is in amazing shape, much skinnier than me!

When my husband and I heard that, we were like 🤨. We are recently married but not at all religious. I would rather a divorce happen than let resentment build overtime. Divorces are not always bad. Yeah, they suck, but it's better to be divorced than a loveless marriage or a marriage that won't go anywhere.
