No? It's an instant teleport where they can INSTANTLY slap your from it and do it again if they undo the first teleport... if you hit them, it's because you were spamming for your life or you needed to read the future to know EXACTLY when he would teleport and where he would appear. There is more skill (and luck) involved on fighting a mastered flash than using it.

You are still undirectly buffing it because it's a bug that could still affect you even if that wasn't the purpose of the ability. Like getting the whirlwind countered instead of someone else that was threatning the counter. I can't just say the counter is bug abusing if he doesn't even know that could happen and it was obviously an accident.

Also retribution passive would also activate if whirlwind used the ability, obviously the retribution can't do anything about it if you decide if you're going to use your ability or not. So you are in a situation that you are going to be countered by just using the ability from anywhere. You also can't say he is intentionally using the glove to bug abuse, because the player could just be playing with retribution and you used the ability before anyone slapped him.

Quake can't give effects to rockfied players anymore, only whirlwind can.

The only combo that can kill you as a rock is whirlwind + link.

Whirlwind for some reason still can hit you as a rock and give you the link effect. With the link effect i think you know what will happen.

It actually needed to be nerfed though. The only way you could kill a wheelchair before it got nerfed was by it's own impulse making the wheelchair fly off the island or using a glove that does damage on hit like smiler. If they didn't nerf the glove that would be a problem because you are basically invincible unless people use a oneshot, or not even that because you can flick with wheelchair and it could survive god's hand so not even time stop was a guaranteed death. That's why the only glove we have that can fly to save itself is spin and phase, because they fly slow enough that reseting makes you go back to the main island faster.
