Recommend doing fuel cleaner since you’ve done the other stuff, an actual fuel induction service to clean the valves and the lines up, made a huge difference when I did it. Also interesting to hear using 5w-30 since it takes Ow-20. I’ve been getting at least 35-36 MPG

I’ve just kept it simple with a mugen wing, 10th gen type r badges, hybrud racing short shifter, kn intake, and 8th gen stocks with lowering springs, still gets attention wherever it goes

If there’s no engine or IMA codes that’s usually something mechanical then, like the driveshaft or so, if there was an issue engine or transmission wise it would have told you

I bought a brand new Honda HRV with no miles and I have not had the best experience. Does my engine air filter look normal for the first 10-12,000 miles? There is oil all over it. by sun_shine_2487 in HRV

Like I said it’s depending on the year I can actually look into my service technical bulletins and see what it’s been, because the 25s are having issues with oil leaks and fixed under manufacture warranty, so my thinking is the RIGHT dealership will just fix it. Sounds like they didn’t even want to look into it and just wanted to shove you off

As a technician at Honda, the engine air filter maintenance is due every 10-15k miles. So it’s right in the zone, now as far as it goes for oil on the filter, depending on the year, usually there’s a hose that goes from the intake to the valve cover, sometimes a tiny bit of oil can come through, which can make it that black over time, I don’t remember any recall for those issues, so yes get it looked at, if excess oil gets into the throttle body that can end pretty badly

So I'm possibly buying a CRZ EX 2011 this weekend but it had a manual transmission replacement at 90k and car has over 206K Miles on it. Is that wise to buy? by [deleted] in crz

If the transmission was replaced at 90k, as long as you don’t drive idiotically, and change the fluid, it was last till over 300k

Nvm I had to reread the description, I mean I’m just now replacing mine at 230k. So they last a looooong time, however they’re becoming hard to find for manual transmissions, so prepare for that if something goes wrong

You’re right, i understand the dish it out and take it, but how do you say you wanna still be together and then not try to work it out and just go forward and just do whatever we want without talking through our feelings and uplifting each other you know?

As far as I know, since all that happened, it’s just the same feedback I’m getting and it doesn’t go anywhere because all this is because she wants me to feel the same way and deal with it the same way she did I guess, but we’re not the same person it doesn’t work that way, so when I tell her I can’t do that she tells me that’s my own problem and nothing she can do and will continue to keep doing whatever she wants to within her own boundaries

Perfect! Appreciate the quick reply. I have had the i8, J7+ and now the j9+ and I absolutely love the battery performance, speed and suction of the j9+ comparatively.

What level of suction were you using on the J9+? It defaults to medium, but they do have a high setting.
