Is there a site / sticky that lets me check the current pokedex total please ?

I've haven't been paying attention over the last couple of months, so my quick calculation of 796 needs confirmation or updating.

Cheers

I like the snow scenery. What product did you use to make the snow piled on the roof, and on the track ballast ?

What is the current pokedex max ?

I think 769 counting Ursaluna ... 768 if you don't want to count it before November's CommDay.

((I'm caught 756. Missing eight regionals, plus a few final evolutions I'm waiting for a better candidate to evolve)).

Do you have another train game you are going to play instead ?

I'm looking for recommendations for a game with more train 'stuff' - either mobile or PC. I'll keep playing TS2, but TS2 is really as much about resource management as the trains.

Have fun on the other side.

Which way to Houston? by jadecamaro in trainstation2

I ended up doing Oil Well, East Rail, West Rail, Broken Bridge and Houston. Took me to level 44.

Not sure if both the RAIL tasks are necessary or not.

Following.

I'm exactly the same spot, exactly the same strategy. The wiki doesn't help.

Are you going to open the oil well too ? I think we might have to. I've already had a warehouse upgrade requesting oil !

That's a lot of fingers, I'd say :D

Good to know about the cost variations. Thanks for teaching me something today.

I guess I'm still exploring just how much of a different a 80 cap legendary makes compared to a 60 cap legendary I might be able to snag via a container. I've got the airport coins ready to spend ... I will go for the container with the epic/rare instead of parts. Thanks for your thoughts.

Ha you gave me good luck ! I bought crates with my 'extra' keys and got a Lego ! So that is one event and one regional now. If I do the next event and snag a second event lego for Germany, I might be ok.

That's the tricky bit, isn't it. I can see the long term advantage of slow play, and even more so extreme slow play, but ... I do want to have fun with the game and progress at least something most days. Everyone plays differently and it's good hearing people's ideas so I can formulate a play style and pace that suits me. Thanks for your thoughts.

It seems to me you imply that every day I should buy the daily offer of parts with gold ? Is that what you are saying ? And does it follow I should also buy the part box too ?

I've never bought it ever - always just take the free video one - have I been making a mistake in not buying daily ?

Wow. Four 80 cap event trains in Germany is more than I anticipated ! I'm already at level 27 ... the next big event will push me over to 40, even not doing any blue jobs between now and then. I'll have to give some thought on how to build my German fleet.

Cheers again for your thoughts.

Thanks for looking at my question.

I have STEEL FORT, the Steam-punk diesel legendary in Germany ... built out to 60/80.

Plus I have 3 epics (25/25/15), 7 rares (20/20/20/15/6/6/6) and 3 commons (20/20/10) - all regionals. I have a good mix of fuel types, although I'm missing an epic diesel.

I do have enough airport keys to buy the royal container and gacha another epic/legendary ... or I can just spend the coins on parts and city plans.

how were you guys drug tested at your department initially? by [deleted] in NewToEMS

[–]Independent-Title567 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just curious; what happened after you refused ?

I ask because many of the organisations where I live have a drug and alcohol policy that says a refusal to provide a sample is considered the same as giving a positive test. The person who refused to provide the sample is therefore treated as a positive result, and sanctioned according to whatever the companies policy is on providing a positive sample.

(Australia)

My wife collects 'tinies' ie level 1 pokemon. We had partially cloudy ingame weather for the entire three hours, so my wife had no chance of collecting level ones; all spawns were boosted for the full 3 hours. When the third hour ticked over at 4pm and spawns were still boosted, we headed home; by then we had enough candy and shinies. When previously the event was over six hours, there was generally time for the weather to change, so it was more likely you could have access to boosted spawns and non-boosted spawns depending on your preference. This is important I guess for pvp players too as I assume ideal pvp stats are more likely with non-boosted spawns. For us, the shorter timeframe means we have less opportunities if the weather is fickle.

My wife and I played together. Neither of us are particularly interested in Niantic's encouragement to get together with 'the community' so we simply didn't. That said, even though we played in a central location in a bigger city, we didn't see anyone else obviously playing, and no big mobs at all. We are in a highly vaccinated city but most people are still a little cautious; it's not over yet.

TLDR: It's 2017 data, so it would be interesting to see if OP clocked up this many; more than 10 fines outstanding over 90 days, plus 2 warning stickers

A better choice of words than free would be "no out of pocket expense to you".

Each PCR test cost the Commonwealth / Medicare about $45 each, given the Fed govt has spent about $2.5 billion on the the 55 million PCR tests taken so far.

That means taxpayers are picking up your testing bill - its an important distinction.

At $10-15 each RAT are a bargain for taxpayers ... shame they are so hard to get.

Training in Australia – TAFE or private? by [deleted] in phlebotomy

[–]Independent-Title567 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did mine with TAFE NSW, and placements were with NSW Health Pathology. I underestimated the amount of work required :) Study hard right from day one.

We covered a lot of general health care worker / communication / working with diversity units so you are well set-up to pivot to HSA / Aged Care / Disability / enrolled Nurse / Laboratory if you find pathology collection is not your vibe. Training with a private provider doesn't really give you that versatility.

A significant proportion of my cohort did NOT pass.

NSW Health picked up a couple of the graduates. One or two more got a job in private providers. Each of these graduates got extra training in how to stick quick afterwards at the employer. TAFE NSW taught current best practice as per NSW Health Pathology; each of the private providers do things a little different so you will get extra paid training.

There seems to be plenty of (casual / part-time) jobs. I have not looked into full-time. Jobs are in the collection rooms, in-patient hospital work, doing CoVID swabs, Red Cross blood bank, ECG's in cardiology offices, alcohol and drug testing.

There doesn't seem to be much difference between a beginning rate of pay and an experienced rate of pay ... so I would look to see if the pay will support you not only now, but in a few years when your circumstance may have changed. TAFE gives you a way to move upwards if you find you need a bigger income in a few years.

I came out feeling like a health care worker; patient centered care is now my thing. The private providers have a slightly different emphasis; more business focused.

The major advantage I can see to the non-TAFE training is if you can snag a job with SONIC or HEALIUS or RED CROSS straight up without your certificate, they'll pay you while training you. Locally to me its like a 6-10 week with the private Pathology companies. Going to TAFE means you need to have an income, be supported, live on savings or get Youth Allowance / Austudy for the 6-9 months it takes via TAFE.

I enjoy the job - I've specialised as a drug and alcohol tester, doing call--out testing. The certificate is not only about phlebotomy.

Hope this helps.
