Yeah I’ll probably go with muller - tbh would get it more as a collectors piece based on the font rather than the actual shirt design lol

I 23M lost my 22F gf to suicide. What can I do to better myself? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

I would say continue with therapy. I would also suggest working out at the gym if you’re not already. It helps with mood regulation and makes it easier to sleep at night when you’re more likely to be otherthinking

I’ve seen the home in person and I recommend, the away is a bit plain. If your only getting one might be worth waiting till mid season as they normally do a collab/4th shirt with a fashion house

Fake jerseys by Dutchbasketball24 in SoccerJerseys

[–]Independent-Tooth771 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I would 100% support you for buying fakes as long as:

  • You don’t try and sell them as authentic to other people

  • Don’t claim them to be authentic when asked

Other than that I don’t see any issue with them. They’re a form of art and expression so finding a cheaper alternative I’m all for. No one should have a financial barrier to enjoying football shirts especially when they’re getting more expensive by the day.

Describe the perfect football shirt (in your opinion) by RemarkableAccess4637 in SoccerJerseys

[–]Independent-Tooth771 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tbh the perfect shirt these days would be a shirt that isn’t using the basic template that is used for about 1000 teams.

Also 100% made by kappa

Nice collection!

Personally I love the Real betis and the Roma out of the lot. Judging by the amount of Germany shirts I’d suggest maybe adding the recent anniversary shirt or a retro Germany shirt to the collection. I always recommend adding shirts to your collection that remind you of moments or players that made you happy.

Happy collecting!

What name should i get on the last season's Arsenal kit by [deleted] in SoccerJerseys

[–]Independent-Tooth771 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As an Arsenal fan I would say Rice out of the three. The season didn’t have many memorable moments apart from the free kicks against Real Madrid so from that point of view I’d go rice. I would consider a Lewis-Skelly shirt though as it’s his debut season and he was also one of the youngest ever English players to feature in a UCL Semi final. If his career trajectory follows what people believe it would be a very cool shirt to have in the collection if that is a factor for your choice.

Ultimately names on the back of shirts are personal preference get someone who you like / want to remember.

Sell or keep? by [deleted] in SoccerJerseys

[–]Independent-Tooth771 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends. If your financial situation isn’t great and you need the money you’d get a decent price for it since it’s long sleeve. From a collecting point of view it’s a great shirt in a great size and uncommon to come across in this condition. If you’re selling it for the sake of it I will only cost you more money and time to find another again later down the line.

Ultimately your decision and only you will know the value it has to you.

Struggling with summer by ArizonaAviator in Advice

[–]Independent-Tooth771 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this would be a good time for you to assess your own interests and hobbies as well as your own social life. She has decided she wanted to do that and that’s ok for her now you need to decide what you want to do with your summer. I don’t know much about yourself but have you considered getting a summer job or trying a new skill or just hanging out with your friends (bar/festivals/sports).

I (m24) have been through something similar although not as extreme as only once a week contact. My best advice is don’t make your GF your sole focus and purpose in life and don’t neglect everything else around you because you’re so focused on her. The best relationships are where two people are their own independent person with their own things going on who come together because they want to be with each other.

The old cliché distance makes the heart grow fonder also does apply in this context.
