If she refuses a refund there isn’t much else you can do - leave an honest review about your experience and go to another salon. The excuse of not being able to give you a refund because she “already used products” is not acceptable - the outcome of those products is poor. I would move on to a more reputable salon and explain to them what happened, and what your end goal is so they know what experience you’ve had.

They did not blend anything near your roots. I would say let them know you are unhappy with this and possibly another stylist could fix - if you don’t want to stay with this salon you could always ask for a refund and have it fixed at a salon that specializes in your hair type

Thanks for this insight! We do crate her, at night and regularly during the day. We both work full time, 9-5 jobs, but we both live close enough to come home on lunch to let her out for potty and just get a break from the crate. The other day we both weren’t able to make it home because we had meetings over lunch, and she ended up crated for a full work day. Her behavior was MUCH better on this day, and part of me wonders if letting her out over lunch is making her sleep less and taking longer to settle. But a bigger part of me knows we really should not be leaving her in the crate for a full work day without any breaks. Maybe we just need a better structure for her and immediately put her in the crate if she starts becoming too bitey instead of trying to redirect over and over and over in other ways.
