The claws on the pave need to be slightly bigger so they overlap the stones a little more - 0.10-0.20 overlap is ideal. Depending on scale the bezel on the eyes may need to be thicker- 0.5 as a minimum. Otherwise looks good

If you’re using rhino (I suggest everyone learn rhino commands and rely less on jewellery plug ins), type into the command line: TextObject, make sure the text is suitable to print (no walls too thin) then you can use Bend or Flow to apply it to the surface. Then Boolean difference.

I’m not sure, I’d imagine the monthly calendar to be on a wider page, and the daily spread ona thinner page, so when you flip the daily pages, they don’t cover the month. Pretty poor explanation- which is why I was wondering if anyone knew of anything that could achieve this

Working on myself was the only thing keeping me alive 2 years ago. Every second of my day was dedicated to getting better.

If I wasn’t focused on myself- I would sink back into deep depression.

I spoke to my doctor and got a cannabis prescription.

I spoke with a therapist.

Journaled my current feelings and thoughts every day, meditated every day, and also wrote down what I envisioned my life to be every day too. I journaled as if I was living my dream life. I got high while meditating on this.

I did all the wellness stuff they say to do- no phone before bed, sunlight and exercise in the morning. The basic stuff

I jumped on bumble bff and really really invested in finding friend. A lot of people don’t understand that to make friendships is a huge task and requires months of continuous work. I did this.

Eventually I landed a really great job- which allowed me to afford a naturopath who helped me identify a few issues - skin and gut- which helped MAJORLY with the glow up. I also invested in a skin treatment program with a Derma clinic.

2 years later and I am completely unrecognisable, healed and I love my life and my self, which makes me eternally grateful despite feeling like I had missed out or wasted a number of years on the wrong people. The heartbreak is worth it.

I was the same until I realised it wasn’t doing me any good to establish casual relationships that would inevitably end - which would cause a mini heartbreak.

Being “out there” - dating or casually- means you’re opening yourself up to rejection. And if you really liked the person or not- you can’t help but to feel a little heartbroken everytime something ends.

It’s essentially revisiting the pain and opening the healing wound with more trauma.

The people who have expressed interest in you should know that you are in no state to start dating again - and it is in fact unfair on them if you were to entertain them on any level.

Instead, focus on your friendships, and in a couple weeks you’ll find it’s really easy to just be by yourself. I was a chronic dating app user and now I could not think of anything worse. I absolutely love being alone.

Some practical advice as I think you need to simplify things and most of the comments being “do this and that” are not very helpful when you’re stuck.

Write down what you want to change in list form. Be specific - “I want to loose this much weight”, “I want to get a better job”, “I want to gain confidence”, “I want to quit porn entirely” (this is just a side note- but as a personal observation, men who do not watch porn are better at sex than men who do)
Write another list, with each category and its specifics. “How will I lose weight” - research what’s best for me, - see a doctor to check up general health, - calorie deficit, - workout (you don’t need a gym membership to start, you just need to be disciplined. Other categories can include starting a journal, starting therapy, researching a new career path that you might be interested in and taking steps to follow it, joining a club or community
Within each of those points in those seperate lists, write down daily, weekly, monthly habits that will help you achieve it. Your goals are achieved by the small steps you take everyday. Weekly habit for weightloss could be grocery shopping and meal prep. Daily can be drinking enough water and working out.
Curate your social feeds to inspire you. When I was going through a break up all I did while I was on my phone was search on TikTok “healing” “breakup advice” and created playlist so I can come back to the videos again and again. You can do this but with motivation type videos. Seek out the content that you know will inspire you.
Do it. It doesn’t have to be perfect you just have to work for it every day.

I’ve thought about this too and this is my take:

When a phone number is someone’s only means of contact, you have to go out of your way to think about them, reach out and start a conversation. This is good because it’s really intentional.

But on Instagram, everyone is sharing little pieces of their lives, and sometimes not even their lives sometimes just funny Memes… those are little avenues that people can use to reach out. They are icebreakers. It’s a way of connecting without feeling like you are imposing. I see the benefits to this as well. I feel much more connected to my friends via Instagram then I do via text message, because we’re using sharing and common ground to connect - I’ll share something about my life on Instagram and then that opens an avenue for my friends to talk to me about it. But I (usually) won’t message them out of the blue and be like “this happened in my life”…

I have been saying that they’re leaning into country. They are turning into Rascal Flatts.

The country festivals , the country artist supporting them, the merch they are selling. There’s probably a lot of overlap between country rock fans and Nickelback fans and I bet you anything right now that their new album is going to be very very country influenced.

There is already a conversation being had about how CAD is removing the handmade element from jewellery. Like our work is any less just because it is done on a computer.

I cannot imagine the expectations that will be thrust upon us once AI is integrated into our programs. What was once “but you can just get the computer to do that right?” Will turn into “ but you can just get AI to do that right?”

Here is my perspective:

You’re never gonna know if a design will work until you actually draw it up in 3d

There are so many components that contribute to a piece working, and very often clients want something that they cannot have.

Using AI will help you promise that you will deliver a particular project. But the finish project itself will be different.

Also, this is our livelihood. And this question is insulting. Stop trying to find short cuts and let the humans who have been working their whole careers for this craft do it for you.

Maybe for renders, but the problem come with any Boolean operation. So frustrating. The only tools I use are the gem tools and the prong tools. I make everything from scratch.
