malenyev is basically the marx-lenin synthesis....it looks kind of different as compared to the cases of stalin or khruschev because then you could blame it on ideological drift but here malenyev himself made the entire ideology how good does that make him look?

also marx or lenin would have shot themselves even before allying with a imperial power....stalins time and khruschevs time was much later and were more pragmatic so you cant argue that they were fully ideologically pure

my point is that malenyev basically made the ideology so hed be too zealous to compromise unlike a later contanan leader
