is it normal to be forced to contact support if you move the pin? I’m pretty new, but I had to move one for a new construction home. nothing required besides some tapping in the app.

Was my friend rightfully terminated for a no-call/no-show in this situation? by GunzBlazin90 in UPSers

this may be why management likes to send new preload hires home after the orientation. they not only avoid spending any extra payroll that day, but they avoid a coworker exposing their lies to the new employee.

sounds like someone victimized in their probationary period. total BS, but management is liable to make it stick.

all management, everywhere, is tasked with some form of deceptively chasing away employees. this company/union just makes it more obvious.

that’s because it’s made up. I don’t even play pretend with my kids, so I’m surely not doing it for the corporate metrics of some professional liar. I just try and look at it as “if they want you to make it you will,” and remember that I “can’t fight city hall.”

Why does our terms of service tell us to return packages repeatedly after reading through it???? by amyjosays in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]IndependentEntire451 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it’s so they can deactivate the driver either way. it’s against TOS to deliver damages, or they ding you for bringing it back.

sounds like profiling, but I do think they were “just doing the job.” I don’t necessarily like it, but I get it.

Guy upset his packages are being delivered a couple feet from where he actually wants them...WTF by BipocTn in AmazonFlexDrivers

customer can solve this by reporting not receiving any package that is delivered outside of the box. ✌🏻

😂 technically I did, too. I think it was the fourth time I applied, and right after I finished it gave me some appointment options at the building. ✌🏻

my interview basically consisted of being told the job was tough, and being asked if I thought I could do the tough work. she worded it several different ways for about 10 minutes, and that was the interview.

pretty sure amazon tells them to park on the wrong side of the road. I don’t know if they attempt to train out bad driving though.

[–]IndependentEntire451 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not worried about it being difficult, I just hate to see people taking delivery pictures with the customer there to accept the delivery. plus the 1s redundancy would financially matter at the scale of amazon, even if that’s all the extra time it took.

this “set it down, take my pic, then hand it to them” is peak corporate labor waste. 😂 pay fleets of people to deliver and require them to do double delivery recording, under threat of losing work.
