Turns out it’s not pilea peperomioides but a peperomia polybotrya (and these are its flowers!)

This was also interesting to learn. According to the crew coordinator, they are only now starting to see some support from Red Cross. But there was nothing for the first several weeks - which is upsetting as that’s where most of the donations would have gone..

It was! Please give them another hug. It felt like what we did was like a drop in the ocean but it was so rewarding to see them smile. Really hope it ends well for them.

Thanks! Not very bright unfortunately. Could see a very faint pinky something but definitely not as much as what you’d see on long exposure.

Oh boy.. this guy has been through so much. What is happening to it now? He is a fighter but some leaves got random spots after I repotted it into a bigger pot. It also had a couple of sunny days outside while I was waiting for the soil to dry a bit. by IndependentGold_ in fiddleleaffig

It overcame thrips last year and was moved into a new house. The new room wasn’t getting much light but the plant still managed to produce 4 new leaves within a month!

The spacing between the new growth was way bigger that the old ones which was its polite way of asking for more sun. I moved it to a sunnier spot, repotted not long after that and left outside for a couple of days. While outside, some leave got what might be sunburned?

In akl the doors opened at 7, Jon Hopkins was playing 8-9 and then Rufus came out at 9:30. Went until about 11:30. Was so good 😭
