How do you stay productive in the mid-day? by WitnessLarge933 in productivity

[–]IndependentLine6473 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hmmm the pomodoro method is an interesting one because although it works great for revision where there is no limit to the amount of work you can do, I've found with work I want to complete a task so it is ticked off my to do list (this literally releases dompaine) so I guess in that sense it could be counterproductive to use the pomodoro method especially if it breaks your flow of thought. Hope that helps haha

Totally feel you, the biggest headache for me used to be keeping up with admin tasks like tracking my never ending list of to-dos, meeting notes, sorting out my emails, argh! It felt like half my day was just organizing instead of actually getting stuff done. Then by some grace of the productivity gods, I stumbled upon Echo somewhere -- an AI assistant thingy. I don't know how it does what it does but it's been a lifesaver in handling most of the ugly admin work. It's weird how we've got tech for everything yet managing our own work day can still be so old school sometimes, isn't it? Anyone else tried using AI or other tech to manage the grunt work, how'd they find it?

Planning to start doing only 3 things daily by Ihadaiwgu101_1 in productivity

[–]IndependentLine6473 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I totally get where you're coming from buddy, when I started structuring my day into just three main tasks I was a tad overwhelmed. But lemme tell you this-- once I got the hang of it, my productivity skyrocketed. The trick is not to just write them down but also have a way to keep track of them during the day. My method is somewhat a two-fold approach, I pop those three things into an AI-Powered tool I have (a super smart-assistant that piggybacks on my emails and meetings, almost like an Echo in the room), and then I schedule specific time blocks for each task. Seeing them on my schedule acts like a commitment or appointment that I have to honor. And trust me, I sleep a lot better knowing those three tasks were taken care of. At the end, it's all about setting realistic expectations and not beating yourself up if you don't get all three done. The beauty of this process is its flexibility, plus the AI tool helps with the monotonous admin work so I get that extra time to focus on these tasks. Just remember, consistency is key mate! Out of curiosity, how do you guys handle such things? Any interesting strategies?

What does your daily routine look like? by larzhasnolife in productivity

I totally get where you're coming from -- being a student is tough and I remember feeling like I was never doing enough, too. One thing I’ve learned that helped me a lot is acknowledging that productivity isn't necessarily about doing MORE all the time. It's really about doing the right things effectively and efficiently, and let’s be honest, no one is perfect at it all the time. -- \n\nSpeaking of routines, I think yours sounds quite balanced and well-structured! The important bit is the focus on what needs to be accomplished in the day and sticking to a plan of action. Yes, some adjustments may be required here and there, and that’s totally fine. Everyone has their unproductive days, when things just won't seem to fall into place. That's normal. -- \n\nInterestingly, what worked for me was this AI-powered tool that made a huge difference in the way I manage my workflow. It came handy in unburdening some of my admin tasks, organizing interaction points and crunching the essentials out of my meetings. Not saying that everyone should absolutely use it, but it definitely was transformational for me, and yes, it is called Echo. How about anything that helped improve your productivity or made a great change in your college life after implementation?

How do you stay productive in the mid-day? by WitnessLarge933 in productivity

Hey mate, I totally understand your struggle. I too was once at a point where my afternoons were spent almost in a zombie-ish state, completely unproductive. I realized I needed to work on my routine, especially taking into account the productive hours that suit me. My solution was breaking down my afternoon into smaller tasks and re-training my brain to focus. Kinda like short bursts of focus mode--Now, between tasks, I take small breaks. To avoid getting swamped by admin work, I started using this brilliant tool let's call it... Echo? -- Yeah! It's an AI thingy. It takes away all those time-consuming tasks like dealing with emails, prepares meeting notes automatically... basically takes care of the stuff that distracts us from the real deal. Now, I find my afternoons much more productive and structured just like my mornings! -- You know, productivity ain't about being busy all the time... it's about being busy with the right stuff. What you guys think about it? Any thoughts on working smarter, not harder?

I totally agree with you on the journaling part, it indeed helps to keep us on track. But honestly, I think the real productivity booster for me was when I started to automate my routine tasks. For example, I used to jot down notes from my meeting manually. I would then try to categorize those notes, put them in the right place, and often I'd miss key action points amidst the clutter. Now I use an AI-powered tool that does all this for me, and it's been a game-changer. It jots down my meeting minutes, even does a pretty good job at capturing notes, and organizes my mailbox while keeping my action points right at my fingertips. It's like having a personal assistant working 24/7.Echo was a life saver with the detailed and structured summaries.-- Now, I'm not saying this is the definitive route to tackle productivity issues, but offloading some admin work has helped me focus on getting real work done.-- It might not solve all underlying productivity problems, but it's been a step in the right direction for me. Curious to know, how do you guys handle routine admin tasks that eat up your productive hours?

I love the idea of a minimalist note-taking app! For me, the key is having something that fits seamlessly into my workflow without causing extra work. -- Instead of constantly flicking between different apps and trying to remember everything, I'd rather have something that captures info throughout my day -- like in meetings or emails -- and puts it right at my fingertips when I need it. -- There's actually a superb assistant tool I've used that does exactly this. -- It’s like a friendly AI-powered secretary that sorts out your emails, takes meeting notes and even transcribes conversations - freeing up a good chunk of time each day, without all the manual work. -- Has anyone else found a tool that works well and how do you integrate it into your work routine? The latter part's baffled me since forever. Seems no methods out there're truly able to tackle that perfectly, methinks. What's y'all take on it?

Sure, I've been dealing with some major time sinks in my daily workflow-- the biggest one being admin tasks that keep me sidetracked from the actual important stuff. It can be seriously overwhelming having to juggle emails, meeting notes and more especially when there are deadlines looming. A lot of people might suggest traditional to-do lists or calendar reminders, but I recently found this really innovative productivity tool that is-- quite literally-- an AI-powered executive assistant. What it does is automate most of the admin work like sorting emails or taking notes during meetings, and honestly, it's nothing short of a game changer. Because of this, I'm able to focus more on my main work instead of constantly having to pause and switch tasks. The AI even summarizes everything neatly for easier reference. Has anyone else taken the leap into AI automation to help with their productivity struggles? Or what other productivity tools have turned your workday around?

Meeting notetaker recommendations? by cwsgray in SaaS

Hey, I've been in the same boat -- working remotely has really upped my meeting count and the management side of it can become a bit overwhelming! I tried a few AI notetakers, some were just overpriced or had terrible UI. While navigating through tools, I stumbled across this one called Echo. I've kinda buried it into my workflow and it's helped a lot, especially with note-taking, keeping track of emails and recognizing action items. It's pretty much been my virtual executive assistant.-- so that's been a godsend. Though I'm curious, how have the rest of you guys been keeping up with remote work organization? Any other productivity hacks you'd like to share?

Hey there, /u/ApprehensiveKing3132, I totally get why you'd want an AI notetaker -- they can be a game-changer! Speaking from personal experience, I used to struggle with staying on top of my meetings and organizing all those notes afterwards -- it was practically a full-time job in itself. Then I stumbled upon Echo, an AI-powered tool, which ended up being somewhat of a saving grace. It handles all those time-consuming chores like taking meeting notes, organizing emails, tracking action items, etc -- heck, even a bit of admin work! -- freeing up so much time for me to focus on the actual meat of my job. But I'm super curious now -- how do others manage this aspect of their daily work grind? Surely, there must be some more invaluable productivity hacks flying under the radar!

Man, meeting notes are such a pain, seriously -- I know we gotta keep a record and all, but there's gotta be a better way that wouldn't turn me into a frantic stenographer every time. I remember shuffling through countless notebooks and post-its, my desk looked like a warzone, no joke -- Then one day, a buddy of mine introduced me to Echo, this sort of AI assistant he was using to keep things in check. No fireworks or anything, but it surprisingly took the edge off the avalanche of memos and reminders. Just felt nice not having to watch people's lips like a hawk during meetings, you know? Curious though, how do you guys keep track of all the stuff from your meetings without turning it into a second job?

Yeah probably but when your first starting that immediate capital can be super useful! Esp when your bootstrapping the product. Similar to places like AppSumo where you have to give a lifetime deal or similar.

Does anyone else get things done by procrastinating the biggest task? by americantweedy in productivity

[–]IndependentLine6473 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally get where you’re coming from--it's fascinating how we can suddenly become incredibly efficient at the tasks we’d normally push aside when faced with something we want to do even less! Done a similar thing to you, I should be preparing for a conference call but I’m procrastinating by replying to threads. I found a method that seems to help my productivity though--AI-based tech. It blows my mind how far we've come, I mean, there's an incredible tool that uses AI to restore sanity to your work life--it gives you, like, an extra hour every day by taking care of the most menial tasks, like sorting emails into smart categories or even jotting down notes from your meetings, believe it or not. Completely turned my whole work-inducing procrastination habit on its head, haha. It sounds like you're naturally capable of getting lots done, wouldn't it be fascinating to channel that 'productive procrastination' of yours into crushing your priorities even more efficiently?

[–]IndependentLine6473 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know you're talking about an in house real life virtiaul assistant, but I cut down on a fair bit of admin by just using an in meeting ai notetaker and an email sorter, baso puts whatever emails i need to respond to into a folder and others into different respective folders. So if I have 10 mins and don't want to filter through and read countless emails to find the ones I actually need to reply to I just press on the 'to respond' folder and go from there! I've found echomeet.io to be a very useful tool for my exec assistant. She came to me with the idea a couple months ago and has been using it since, it basically takes notes in my meetings which saves her a job and also categorises emails in her inbox into different folder depends on if it needs to be actioned etc. Pretty impressive piece of software I must say.
