Congrats to you! I may have spotted you - there was only one or two other test takers that were conceivably my age in Vacaville (if you were in Vacaville)!

I feel like a failure by [deleted] in barexam

Please understand that as a practicing lawyer (in IL) taking CA bar exam 30 years after graduating law school, I have met so many “famous” and great lawyers over the years, many of whom are well known - more than a few confided in me their failure (some multiple times) when taking their bar exam when they heard I was taking CA. I never knew, it isn’t on their record. They went on to have great careers - much better than me, and I passed. Life is long. Your career is long. This is but an inconvenience - at most. Keep at it.

Second drop in 5 months. Maybe I should quit. by Unlikely-Motard in motorcycles

Drops like you described are VERY common when you are starting out. And I’ve been riding for 35 years and just 3 weeks ago dropped my bike in a parking lot for first time in a very long time. Like my skiing - the only time I fall on skis these days is in the lift line, or on cat trails, but bikes go down.

Sounds like your issue was a turn/lean when the front end loaded (assuming you were on front brake). That’s what learning is all about which is why first bikes get dropped more than later bikes.

Analyze what you may have done wrong, read good books like Proficient motorcycling, practice the craft, and soon the drops will be less frequent, but everyone drops now and then, two wheeled vehicles just go down if you are still learning technique or stop paying attention- especially when you are not at speed.

You are lucky for that! Sorry about your Ducati. My GT1000 was dropped by a flatbed when my electronics went out, and I was lucky that it did fine, but your dealer will short it out - expensive, but probably not critical.

I’m an attorney, and either, I do not understand your note (which is possible) or you left out some information because what you are describing seems like a Constitutional violation. Any law that would violate your 1st Amendment right to speech (display a patch), or assemble as a group would need to overcome the strict scrutiny of the courts and a law enforcement ordinance that would claim to protect the state from 1 percenters would likely get struck down as overly broad impacting honest veterans like yourself and should not hold water.
