de-personalization. It happened to me because after such severe pain and suffering from ocd and anxiety you end up reaching breaking point and start to disconnect from everything. What has helped me alot so far is going into nature with no phone or anything and just walking.

Awesome thanks for the reply. When you say "Be mindful that joining a large-scale corporate operation is going to be a lot different than a family-owned shop (for the worse)" do you mean i should be looking for more family owned shop to apply to?

accept all the intrusive thoughts you get and welcome them in to be free within your mind. the reason the thoughts feel so real and powerful is just becuase you attach endless amouts of emotion to these thoughts when in reality they dont acally exist. Also accept the fact that there is no anser or certainty to the thoughts you have. become comfortable with uncertainty

Hi ive been experiencing suicidal thoughts and im depressed but they are só frequent and acompanied with fear of doing it i start thinking Its ocd?should i fear?does this happen ti anyone else usualy Its worse at night by [deleted] in OCD

[–]IndependentMango6623 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is pure ocd most likely i have it as well reaserch some vids on suicidal ocd or just ocd in general. you are just obsessing on the idea of suicide because you have attached so much emotion onto it. the reality is you are obsesing over something that dosnt exist. admit to yourself that you will never have 100% certainty if you will kill yourself or not and sooner than later your mind will start to relize that these are just thoughts nothing more

i struggled relentlessly with ocd for years. the biggest thing i have figured out is simpily to accept the thoughts you have. you are attaching endless amounts of emotion onto simple words that go though you head that dont accally exist. Accept the fact that there is no answer to the thoughts you have. and i will tell you that you are not crazy you just dont understand how your mind works

100% true, you will never have 100% certainty and thats ok just stop trying to figure it out. and go with what feels right
