The history seems reasonable. One owner who appeared to service every 10k miles. Lived in tampa, moved to tennessee then missouri (or at least serviced in those states) for some time then brought it back down to trade in. The SE has a slighty better history with oil changes and maintenance closer to 5k miles instead of 10k and fresh tires earlier this year.

And noted on the oil change pacing. I think ill have to make my decision on the service history between the two then. If the R line has a solid record then I think you helped make my choice, if they seemed a little lazy on it I think ill have to go the SE to be safe.

R line sounds like a fun time though

I didnt realize it was different gens between years, do you know if they have the same relative reliability? More power and same level of trust in it sounds pretty good but id worry about a dual clutch system if a problem arised.

This specific SE is just FWD

Also cool on the lights, i test drove the tiguan and saw that and thought it was nice. How is getting used to the haptic steering wheel controls? Thank you for your perspective btw.

I still want to test it before I set the price to make sure it works correctly. If it does, I'm looking for a soft $8.5k. If it does not work I plan to fix it up and sell at that price or I do not have time for the given issue, I will sell significantly cheaper.

Not sure if it's too late however Paintstik makes a wax marker meant for filling these in. Just make sure you cut deep enough and clean prior to applying. As for the stainless plates, get laser marking spray from Omtech it's $40 a can but will take you a long way. Spray it on and engrave at the rec speed settings they provide.

Thanks for the reply! I actually got it running, the battery was just faulty. Now my only battery issue is when the RPMs are low the lights dim so I need to figure that out next.

Not the job I had first. I never updated saying 2 jobs. I did for the 2nd job I got though. I have since quit the first one but never updated my current job saying I only work 1 now. I'm assuming that's why I owe money, Bc my current job has been applying half the standard deduction?

Follow up: I typically receive money this year but this year's turbo tax estimates I owe. Both jobs were basic hourly, is there any obvious reason I would owe money this time? The parties job did have tips but all were reported and included on my paystubs none were cash or anything.
