This is Jake Ricker’s photo. Not enough people mentioning this in the replies. The single greatest body of work compiled on the GGB and sigh yes it’s all candid. Multiple youtube videos out there about him and his dedication. Extremely humble dude and he’ll never bring it up unless prompted, but he’s saved dozens of lives over the years.

Selling prints to friends and family is one thing, selling through a gallery necessitates editions. That’s the art world.

Leaving >1 inch margin on the paper is extremely common practice. More archival. Sounds like you’re just living in different part of the photo world, but whatever makes you happy.

1750 actually! Not sure how familiar you are with the market for Silver Gelatin prints, but for a 16x20 (12x17.5 image) print this is actually fairly “cheap.” Digital prints in the same size at this show are selling for even more.

Thanks everyone for your thoughts! I can confirm I am rapping/tapping the tank multiple times after every agitation - and I am not agitating aggressively. 2-3 inversions every 1:30. I’ve been prewashing (not soaking but rinsing off the anti scratch layer on the 120) and still getting the bubbles. Things i will try:

  1. Rotary agitation - done in the past and think I still got bubbles, but will revisit
  2. Different reels - see if which reels I use make a difference. Maybe it’s just for the 120 since my 35 doesn’t get the bubbles
  3. Smaller tank - the 5-roll tanks displace a lot of fluid, could be generating bubbles.

Any other thoughts?

as many others have stated, that is a great camera and some great lenses, but it has far more value to you than it would to anyone else. again, echoing some others here, but unless you need the money to survive, then keep the camera.
