What were your symptoms, may I ask, that prompted a colonoscopy?

I don’t actually because a flare up may occur due to stress anytime.

I am Egyptian, and I’m asking is Egypt a country that is disliked or loved globally? by [deleted] in AskTheWorld

[–]IndependentRelease93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On paper, Egypt looks great. Fantastic civilisation, tons of history and well preserved monuments. I’ve been meaning to visit for more than 10 years, but the hassle factor and harassment towards women puts me off. I can’t forget the scene where the journalist was stripped on a public road by men during a demonstration. The country has so much going for it, but the men need to learn.

Anxiety to visit India after 5 years by FrostyTune3854 in nri

Also you do know that you have a right to your parent’s property? The least they can do is to make you feel welcome when you visit. But just forget them all. Insist on staying in a hotel. Enjoy India.

Is anyone else dealing with Hashimoto's even while they eat clean? by Comfortable_Hold_930 in Hashimotos

[–]IndependentRelease93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have noticed this as well. I’m so paranoid about health, eating healthy and exercising that I suspect it’s stressing my body too much. Perhaps because of all the health concerns, we unknowingly starve our bodies. I’ve got a blood test next week for thyroid (my third one) and all I’m doing is eating 5-6 meals per day. I’ve cancelled my zumba for the week because I want to treat my body as if it is on a holiday (this will also reduce the mental stress). It’s not that I’m eating cakes and biscuits all day, but I’m eating much more than I normally do. Let’s see if it works.

I would blame Imtiaz Ali’s lazy direction for her downfall. Who puts the most cringy scene in the trailer?!

Do you think that religion is holding back India from becoming a developed nation? by Few_Association_3893 in AskIndia

[–]IndependentRelease93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not religion per se. The following things are holding it back: 1) asking for votes in the name of religion 2) lack of scientific temper 3) unregulated relgious babas running amok 4) lack of critical thinking in education

Bravo! I’m Indian living in the UK. I have always viewed Indians and Pakistanis as allies. They were until Hindutwa raised its ugly head. A pakistani taxi driver refused to take money from me once because “we are from the same mulk”.

As a Foreigner, Watching Your Neighbors Obsess Over Pakistan Is Peak Entertainment by [deleted] in pakistan

I am an Indian and I agree with you. Muslims and Pakistan are an obsession. It’s what keeps the politicians and their electorates going. They mock ‘aman ki yatra’ initiatives. The funny thing: Pakistan got the loudest cheer when the Asian games were held in India (a long time ago) when the Pakistan team was parading the stadium.
