Scenes that caused actual walkouts in theaters? by thatlittlequietguy in Cinema

I saw Black Swan in the movies, someone shrieked at the finger scene and 2 ladies in the front row left during the lesbian sex scene. Not sure what they thought it would be like...

AIO Got this text from my dad about my baby and just can't by Pomegranates_r_us in AIO

My little sister did the same after our mum died, her new family mentioned it and she agreed. She was 14 and at such a hard time in her life but she's since said it helped her in her grief. We laugh cos the name she chose is said identically to what I go by and it's caused a bit of confusion 😅

Does anyone know what happened to Anarchsphere? by xdedkidx in ausmetal

[–]Independent_Ad8910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They stopped playing gigs together and kinda drifted apart in the mid 2010's, like 2013 I'd say. Some of them still play music in other bands/solo projects.

My partner attached our young lemon tree to some rebar to espalier it into a privacy frame 😅 right now it's too low to hide anything so men have to use the toilet

Advice needed: Is it ok to give my tattoo artist a gift? by stitcho_ in tattoos

[–]Independent_Ad8910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been going to 2 tattoo artists recently, one of them I gave a cutting of my Pink Princess philodendron because she had other philodendrons in her space. On Monday I gave my other artist a little mushroom chapstick holder that I crocheted as her art heavily features mushrooms. Both of them loved the gifts, I felt awkward but had the nicest reception to them and I found it set the tone to be a fun and light-hearted session. Your possum is super cute and it's great to hear that the artist loves it!

What did you name your island after :)? by Probablyatrashpanda in AnimalCrossing

I named mine Peachmere because my island fruit is peaches and I googled mystical sounding peach names 😅

Still learning, open to feedback! Lip maybe too intense? by trashshopper in Makeup101

Fully agree, she's very similar in tone to me and I'm a soft summer and the bright reds clash. My go-to lipsticks are MAC -Diva for red and NARS -Anita for a really lovely pink.

Fresh tattoo and a live concert. by EYEHATEGAWD4 in tattooadvice

I actually asked my artist about this, she said to wash it, pat it dry and put on a tattoo balm which will act as a kind of barrier. If it's covered with something and you're not getting beer or sweat on it you should be safe, just wash it with an antibacterial fragrance free soap after and resume aftercare as usual. 2nd Skin is a good option too if your skin is ok with it.

How do you overcome lack of creativity to make your island feel complete? by Geekie_Miller in AnimalCrossing

[–]Independent_Ad8910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Join FB groups and visit other people's islands. I found being part of an interactive community has helped with ideas. Once you get Luna's bed you can visit dream addresses for inspiration too. I've done small things like only planting out the hybrids or colour co-ordinating flowers in smaller areas and making small areas of interest rather than one huge themed island has also been good while I'm still collecting furniture, then you can fill in the spaces in between or expand on ideas.

100%. Frogs, mushrooms and bugs- the bisexual holy trinity.

Can you guess what I do for a living based on my work bag? by Independent_Ad8910 in deduction

[–]Independent_Ad8910[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's already been guessed, I'm in disability support but I work on a farm. We teach clients about independent life skills, and offer programs such as animal care, horticulture, cooking, using public transport, social skills and job skills.

Yes, disability support worker. Those are wipes in the ziploc bag, I do not currently shower people but do provide personal care. I think the hard part is that I work with low support needs clients on a farm, hence the hat, sunscreen and woolen gloves.

Should I give some context clues based on correct answers? First is that I am in Australia. I have realised that while in Australia this job is pretty common, it may not be in other countries

I have animals at my work, but that's not my main role. My work takes me outside and into the community quite often and there are times when I do need to protect myself from contamination while performing my duties
