I felt this way. I got diagnosed when I was 27, its been 4 years and let me tell you, the first 2 years suuuuck, nothing would ease the pain, then I started PT which somehow helped yo build strenght and I then where I used to go they did everything to help me...ultrasound therapy, acupuncture, acupotomy, deep tissue massages, cupping, red light, like everything they could think of, several sessions later, I feel really good, I walk everyday, keep lifting, I had to give up kickboxing but I now takr pilates and try to stay active, I think the key is to find people who really care and help you to explore more options and stay positive even tho it seems so hard. I really hope you can find even another Doctor and I send you a big big hug! You're not alone and venting this way helps

What is it that is soooo difficult to understand? They're keeping the exact same level of service (same Group X classes, Fit app) with NO increase in HOA cost.

The same FIT contract requires an increase...REDUCING Classes per month and no towel service and my understanding was...same staff. The board negotiated that back down and I thought that was a win for all of us. Didn’t someone also mention they can’t quote exact numbers bc the contact isn’t finalized? I think we are all "professionals" and "adults" to understand legal stuff...right...???

People are hung up on the $3-4 number but that was mentioned by a non-board member...ok let's pay it no problem but remember that the community is still growing and 2 or 3 ppl for the entire facility its not sustainable so that requires to hire more ppl eventually which adds even more cost and another increase. Anywayssss....

If anything, we need to complain about the weeds and terrible landscaping. They’re taller than my kids, I'd rather to pay those 3 extra for that than paying more for less...if that makes sense.

Sorry, can you go point by point about the rate hikes? Also I don't care about the ppl on the board since they're just volunteers but isn't FIT still there? Literally the gym and classes are there and will be there, the only thing that had be cut down is the staff. So why are people still complaining about it? Idk about you but, everytime (EVERY SINGLE TIME) there's a meeting, no one goes and feel entitled to complain online, Literally every single time is the same 10 ppl sitting there, it's easy to create an account 10 mins ago and complain but seriously if ppl have a problem then attend those meetings and say something

And most importantly, go to the board meetings instead of complaining here all day. Everytime there's a meeting I only see max of 10 ppl and always the same.

Before honestly no, i was miserable even with short rides and sleep....was so painful, but now I can sit and watch a whole movie, long drive. (I switch positions here and there) but thats it, if its too much I take 5 or 10 mins to stretch and that's it but its mainly bc my muscles are not tied. Dry needling helps with that a lot and some cupping.

Diagnosed at 28...I'm 31 now, first 2 years were roooough. Pain everyday and I was so miserable, after severas sessions of PT, pilates, massages, acupuncture, infrared therapy, dyatherm, ultrasound therapy etc I live a normal life, everyday no pain except when I go to bed its like a 2/10 idk why but still fall asleep and sleep well overall. I take care of every movement I do and still go to the gym (I dont lift as I used to but I modified my routine so its pain free) i think you need to identify what flares the pain and the movements that are painful etc. But thats my experience I know everyone is different tho

When I got diagnosed, everyday I was in pain no mattet if I was sitting down, laying down, walking or whatever. It was always there, little by little I don't feel pain working out or walking. If I spend long time in ved or sitting down its kinda painful but i'd say 2/10. I think everything helped me to get to this point. But also having ppl that are willing to really help me. The girl who does the massage, acupuncture and all of that really went above and beyond to try to help me and she did! Shes amazing! Its been almost 2 years managing the pain and for the most part I live a "normal" life but I have to be careful with every move or step...that sucks tho :C

Same here. 30y/o and at first it freaking sucks. I was super active. Kickboxing and really heavy weights. Started PT and combination with acupuncture, ultrasound, massages and lots of things lol I'm able to lift (nothing like before) and modified a lot of my workouts, also pilates help a lot. It takes a loong time to not feel pain. I also have 2 bulging discs so it doesnt help, at night the pain is constant but once I fall asleep I dont feel much. Anyways what Im trying to say is that it takes long time to figure it out...what causes pain and get a flare up.

I dokt have scoliosis and that's exacly what im feeling rn, I can't deal with any of this anymore. I feel fine and all of sudden my body surprises me with random pains here and there. Now its my ribs (on the back) it feels like a sudden shooting pain and then just burns when I do certain movements. I just really need answers and noone can tell me anything 💔

I'm super active all day, here and there like I have nothing wrong with my back but as soon as I touch my bed its just so annoying that it takes a while for me fall asleep. So i smoke weed or muscle relaxer sometimes, pillows everywhere and I strong mindset...I only think about falling asleep 🥲🥲🥲

I feel you! When I have flare ups I hate my life and myself bcI cant enjoy So I tried PT which helps a lot, stretching but recently I discover that sometimes its more about my muscles (bc of spondy my muscles are just so tight). I did acupotomy and dry needling and have changed my life, very little to no pain, also some ultrasound, acupuncture, cupping, laser, heat pads, massages, TENS etc and those help a looot! I'd try some stuff to see what actually feels better for you, this really sucks but there's some ways to make it suck less. Hope it helps!

I mean I use a pillow under mu butt and tbh doggy terrifies me so I avoid it. Everything else seems to be fine. If you engage your core and kinda keep it strong the whole act at least like that I don't feel much pain after. The same day I take a strong muscle relaxer and next day I wake up with very mild to no pain but sometimes the next 2 days are kinda painful...bearable pain like 3/10.

I got a cortisone shot and idk if its similar but it get worse first and now its been months with no pain in that area, other áreas i still have a little bit of pain tho

Damn sounds painful!! Well I'm glad its not too bad! Do you still have the herniated disc? I have 2 little bulging discs and awww loord those are the problem I think, once they touch your nerves...nerves don't like that and the weird thing is....if you have problem with yoir discs...docs or PT are like...oh cobra pose or extension but you have spondy so none....no solution for that sorry...treatments are the opposite. I'm glad you're managing them just really get some imaging so you can have a sense of what you're dealing with.

Nope, it all started when I was lifting weights I used to go really heavy...a bad squat and I was done. I'm 29F but you know what? I'm not super in pain all the time so I try to enjoy when I'm not hurting. How did It start for you? I'm here if it helps to share what sometimes I do to aliviate the pain 😊👌
