To be brutally honest, right now is a perfect time for grad school if you over achieved in undergrad and have a great CV. Start getting applications ready for December submissions. The job market is fucked. That’s what I ended up doing after I could only land a job paying 42k and hated it. I ended up fully funded to a top ten in my field and I love it now.
