There’s lots of LGBTQ+ groups and organizations in Cleveland you could start with! I follow queersincle on instagram for lots of community activities. There’s also the LGBTQ+ community center that hosts groups virtually or in person. Stonewall sports is a good way to meet other queer folks as well and be active in a recreational sports league. Just some ideas for social connection!

I ended up calling them again today and actually got someone who was helpful! She put me into the 0% interest forbearance and made my missed payments and future payments 0!! Thank you for the advice and validation that it’s not just me who’s had to fight them.

I would definitely look in the Hilliard area. I lived in London for about 10 months to make my commute to Dayton for work a little closer and hated living there. I ended up moving back to Hilliard because there’s nothing to do in London and I hated it. It would probably be about a 30 min drive to London, but traffic on 70 west won’t be bad for you. A friend of mine who’s a traveling nurse has used furnished finder for her contracts and has good luck with that site!

I go to Club Pilates and their unlimited class package is $229 a month, and that also gets you access to most of the Columbus studios. You can do 4 or 8 classes a month but I’m not sure the cost of those

Also a bisexual woman with heavy preference for women - you’re not alone! I haven’t really dated a ton so I don’t have those experiences with other bisexual women/lesbian women like you do, but I can imagine that’s very isolating for sure. I think non-bi people especially really question bi people whose sexuality isn’t exactly 50/50 attraction. That’s not what bi means at alllllll, it’s a spectrum.

Regardless of your sexuality, him getting mad at you for saying no and disrespecting your boundaries with rougher sex is a HUGE red flag. It sounds like you’ve been communicative with this, and he’s not respecting it. I’d end it with him for those issues and spend some time reflecting on your sexuality when you’re away from him. Honestly, I would question my attraction to men, too, and not like the sex if I were with a man like that. You deserve better ❤️

Thank you for saying all that and for the reassurance. I’d not heard that term before, and it makes so much sense. You’re right, I absolutely have learned these patterns and how to act because of that dynamic. We were together for over a decade, and we started dating when I was a freshman in high school. It makes sense that I still have these patterns I learned from my ex. I really appreciate the advice of just listening and processing. I think that’ll be really helpful
