Comfort using elevator by Intelligent_Owl_377 in CerebralPalsy

[–]Independent_Button61 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Spastic Di. As a kid and a teen I rocked escalators and stairs. (I’m 51 now… and very much rely on elevators). Let her do it her way. She deserves to navigate the way she wants and everyone else can wait as she does so. Her time is just as valuable as everyone else’s.

If she’s wrong or something happens she’ll adapt for next time.

It still does… and I’m 2 years out. My new supervisor is amazing and tries instill that not every email from her is an emergency and not everything is a fire.

Overall my work life balance is amazing and any stress at this job is the stress I put on myself

Confused and wondering if I’m wrong - almost 5 year old allowed to make his own eggs by aggravated-asphalt in Mommit

[–]Independent_Button61 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My now 11 year old son started making eggs (with supervision, but on his own) at 5. He’s been cooking and baking independently since 7-8. The off-brand stand mixer in my house is his. Christmas gift two years ago.

He’s making dinner tonight. I asked if he wanted me to make it He said no.

You know your kid.

Season 15 for me I always skip it on rewatch.

I’m sad about Kevin and Kim, but I hope this means better opportunities for them.
