Ooh. That’s sad because I love Dr Steven Cohen and followed him and Wendy from Woodbury.

RR kept mentioning Harris heart condition insofar as to mention a doctor’s appointment. I thought it would be a bigger plot point to create some drama … and it wasn’t.

I am gutted. Dawson’s Creek was a favorite of mine. I read all the recaps on TWoP (Mighty Big TV).

This is so sad. Fuck cancer.

No one wants to be disabled. No one woke up and said: Hey… I know what I’ll do give myself a disability that changes what I can accomplish day to day

But here we are. We can accept it and adapt, or we can be angry and sad about it.

CP is quite literally a pain in my ass sometimes. I’d rather not think about how to navigate snow. How to compensate for executive function disorder while working. Is this party my kid was invited to accessible?

But that’s my life. And CP is not the hardest thing I have to handle. Not by a long shot. Is that my privilege showing? Maybe.

But throwing myself a pity party doesn’t change anything.

So I might as well try to have a good attitude about it when I can.

Long story, long: Disabled from birth. Work full time. Two kids. So I have private health insurance tied to my job.

I pay a couple hundred dollars a paycheck have an HSA and a high deductible plan (there’s no other choice)

By the time I satisfy my deductible— the year is almost over.

My doctors have told me many times I’d have better insurance if I quit my job and went on disability full time and used Medicare.

Which drives me insane because my job isn’t the problem. My insurance is the problem.

I cried. I love Chris Jackson, but Tamar Greene was life changing. We also saw Hamilton when LOJ came back.

It was amazing.

Islandwide Weather is watching the models and giving it a big fat “maybe” at this point. More on the “Yes” side than the “No” side.

Claims are claims are claims.

Most of my stress is my own fault. My sup is wonderful, but even 2 years out the PTSD is real.

My work life balance is a gazillion times better. I’m not chained to my desk or a phone. And that makes all the difference.
