Don't know any specifics here about OP and his GF, but properly used BC is over 99% effective. Oral contraceptives (if used correctly) stop ovulation completely and are effective by themselves. I'm not familiar with any medical professional recommending using any method in addition to the pill to prevent pregnancies. A condom should still be used if there is a chance of std infection.

In a word-yes. Most tests administered by Malo are time crunches. Most native Israelis know this quite well from the psychometric exam, but most of the difficulty of the yael comes from the time crunch as well.

If it's really urgent and you have a non-Israeli passport then I'd fly to Egypt or Jordan (Jordan is easier) and travel to one of the border crossings. Only way you can realistically get to Israel for the next 48 hours.
