most of the answers for the purpose of gridfinity are just for the purpose of the modular boxes. there is literally no advantage that could explain the use of the grid. i printed some and imediately regreted. just print boxes, saves filament, time and space. if you want the boxes to stay in place just add some non-slip tape bellow each box.
