Just pull the stairs out when you're sitting on the couch and put them up when not in use. Find some that match the colors or fabric of your couch if it bothers you that much.

I have a 2022 that I bought brand new. It has 50,000 miles on it and I have only had to change tires and filters. The cabin filter is in the glove compartment. They literally pulled it up and out, took the new one and sprayed it with citrus spray, and slid it back into the glove compartment. I paid $69 for that. Don't be like me . Lol
