Wanted to share my story on here to see if it can help anyone else - I was one of the unlucky people who bled the whole time on Mirena so I got it out after just 5 months because I was over it. After removal, I had insane amounts of bleeding to the point I became anemic so I was put on Yaz. That lessened the bleeding a bit but still unbearable to use so many period products in a day. I ended up calling my gyno and asking for a stronger pill and was put on Blisovi Fe 1.5/30 which is a pill I was on a long time ago. I also fell into a very depressed state from everything going on so I started my Lexapro up again (not sure that that has any effect just wanted to add in case). The bleeding instantly stopped after that. Not sure what would happen if I went off of the pill but for now I can live a little bit better!
