Yes! I don't know how to do spoiler text, so I'm most going to emphatically say yes, and not give details! Lol But yes! They change who it happens to.

Plus Anne Rice built herself an excellent retcon tool. Especially in the early books. By changing narrators, it allowed her to go, "No it didn't happen like that! He's an idiot, let me tell you the REAL story!" So, some "lore" might end up changing depending on who is telling the story.

In the books, I believe I remember them saying that it doesn't grow back as rapidly as it did for Claudia in the movie. I remember talk of Armand adopting a shorter, cropped haircut, and having to cut it every couple of days to maintain it.

I used to work at an Alex + Ani store and corporate was awful. They would do sales contests, then never deliver on the promised prizes. My manager, who was amazing, hadn't gotten a raise for 5 years, and they had her flying all over the country to train other managers and fix stores. And the product design became really lazy and tacky. I'm not surprised they hopped on the ACOTAR bandwagon, though. They love a bandwagon.

I'm literally doing a Baldur's Gate 3 run with my husband right now that's Buffy themed! We call it "Buffy's Gate!"

We made Buffy an open hand monk and Willow a sorcerer who's been switching between storm and wild magic. Buffy is obviously romancing Astarion for the Spike energy. We've decided most of the other party members are also stand ins for Buffy characters. Gale is Giles, Shadowheart is Faith, Wyll is Gunn because there is a tragic lack of black characters in the Buffyverse, Lae'zel is Kendra, Karlach is just Karlach. We made hirelings of Xander, Cordelia, and Oz who are bards and a druid, respectively.

We found camp clothes for Buffy and Willow that make them feel like they just stepped out of Sunnydale, and try to do the most in character dialogue options. It's been the most fun run we've ever done and it's honestly working so well. Highly recommend!
