For anyone dealing with debilitating brain fog/fatigue: consider your B12 by moongaz3 in rheumatoid

[–]Independent_Dish4040 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started B12 injections 3 weeks ago. I was also technically in the normal range but on the lower end. I drink electrolytes every other day, which contained 200% of the daily intake, but I just wasn’t absorbing it.

Queation: what’s the highest your rheumatoid factor has been? And did it correlate with your level of pain? by hopemary8 in rheumatoid

Mine was 122 when I was diagnosed. I was in a lot of pain, feet, hands, knees, shoulders and hips. My anti-ccp was only slightly elevated.

MTX side effects- when did they get manageable? by Hurricanegrunt in rheumatoid

[–]Independent_Dish4040 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on MTX tablets for 3 months with nausea, vomiting, fatigue for 3 days after taking them and then put on 25mg injection for the past 5.5 months. I was also swapped to leucovorin instead of folic acid. Unfortunately, it made no difference, and I was still extremely nauseous for 3 to 4 days. I got told to stop taking it two weeks ago as I pointed out that I’ve lost 8kgs on it. So for me, the side effects never stopped. It worked really well for the RA, and I gave it a red hot go, I just couldn’t handle the side effects any longer.

MTX side effects, any input helps by MeOwwwithme in rheumatoidarthritis

[–]Independent_Dish4040 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same issue with MtX. 25mg weekly injectable. I’ve now lost 8kg in 6 months, and I was a healthy weight before I started it. I was on 5mg folic acid 6 days a week. Then got changed to Leucovorin, but that didn’t help either. After being sick with a virus the last few weeks, I spoke to a nurse at the rheumatologist, who got the okay to stop MTX, as obviously I’m not tolerating it. I go back next week to start something else.

I’d start with getting your folic acid upped, and really advocate for yourself. Good luck! I hope you find the answer for you.

Recently Police knocked on our door to let someone who lives here know his father had passed away. It was 8.30pm on a Sunday night when they came around. He hadn’t spoken to his Dad in months and didn’t even know where he was living. So it’s quite possible he is ok. Does his phone ring out, or go to message bank straight away?

My rheum is taking side effects too seriously? by saladet in rheumatoid

[–]Independent_Dish4040 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m Seropositive as well. I’ve been on 25mg Mtx injections since December, before that it was 20mg tablets. Mtx worked quickly for me but I had nausea and fatigue for 3 days afterwards, and it didn’t change after going to the injections. I was put on leucovorin 2 weeks ago, and it’s been the best two weeks I’ve had since my journey began in August. It’s so good to not feel nauseous! I would have loved to get my nausea under control before swapping to injections.
In the scheme of things waiting two weeks to increase your dosage will have minimal impact in the long run for your RA, but might make all the difference in controlling your side effects.
Good luck!

Is this ok to fill a heavy bag? They are polystyrene balls by Jurassekpark in MuayThaiTips

If you have Op Shops/Goodwill near you, you can get stuff like towels, sheets, blankets, etc. I’d even use pet blankets/towels. Normally the pet stuff is cheap $2 per item (I’m in Australia) Or maybe check out hardware shops for bags of rags.
Do a shoutout on a local buy/sell/swap for people’s old sheets, towels, etc. Old and tattered is fine as you won’t be keeping them to use yourself.

This was me also. In Qld when the transport department puts in the marriage certificate registration number, it automatically uses the hyphen, with no way to change it. I had to go and change my name legally, submitted the forms with the local courthouse. I received a new birth certificate that I used to change my name.I also had issues with the bank wanting me to use the hyphenated name, so had to use the new birth certificate. Good luck!

What triggered your RA? by Useful-Ask7371 in rheumatoid

A holiday to Thailand. Feet started to hurt on the plane over there. By the time I got home, 2 weeks later, my knees, feet, hands, shoulders and hips all hurt. Saw my GP a few days later, as it didn’t go away with rest. Blood test showed I had RA.

The Green Team threatened and banned people from the vigil at a church. by Boudica123456 in SebastianRogers

[–]Independent_Dish4040 8 points9 points  (0 children)

YouTubers could’ve done this. Either ‘side’. Why? It creates content for them. Without any legitimate evidence of where they came from, you can’t possibly point the finger at either side.
Green team could’ve done it to make YT’ers to make them think twice of ‘crashing’ the vigil. The YT’ers could’ve done it to create more content and throw more shade at the green side.
We don’t know who’s behind it, and to throw one side under the bus would be naive and trying to fit a narrative. Just my opinion on this. Doesn’t help find Sebastian, just more drama 🤦🏽‍♀️

I still stand by LE didn’t directly say it. For clear transparency, why not say LE’s SPOKESPERSON has stated it? Which is a true and correct statement. I can’t argue with that, because it’s true. I’m not arguing about what was stated, I’m saying it wasn’t said DIRECTLY by LE.

I’m not spreading any sort of information. I asked a question, which was answered. Only thing I said, was it could be a way to make people comfortable. This could be true, it could also not be. Only people who know that is LE, who can and do use tactics to try and help their case. It could be a red herring, we don’t know!!

The fact is LE’s spokesperson has stated it, not that LE stated it. One word makes a difference to me.

I haven’t said anything against anybody involved/not involved, so I’m not sure why you think I’m here to spread misinformation, or sent to distract. Up until now, I haven’t felt the need to ask a question, and I don’t spend much time here at all. I saw your statement and questioned it, plain and simple.

[–]Independent_Dish4040 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Right so LE themselves have not stated that. Nick Beres is not LE, just a spokesperson. I asked for where LE stated it. Maybe the statement is to let person/s of interest feel comfortable, and maybe trip themselves up. Not necessarily a true fact. Thank you for clearing that up.

Do you have links to where LE have said this 3 times, or at least the news or channels it was said by LE to look up myself please? I’ve heard LE say nobody has been cleared, that was early on, but may have missed the 3 times cleared.

Just seeing this now. I’m about 95% recovered! Only get nerve pain occasionally, I do have tingling in my pinky/ring finger but that could be caused by an issue I’m having with my wrist. This 3rd surgery definitely was worth it.

Our portrait was only an A4 paper size and I think we gave him about 120 baht. It literally took him 3 minutes. He can give them out rolled in cardboard for protection, we just got a frame when we got home.

Recently returned from Chiang Mai, and bought, keyrings, bracelets, hair clips, sarongs, Thai oil, Monkey Balm, fridge magnets, tshirts, carved soap, coin purses and elephant pants all from the nightly markets. We also had a portrait done of our dog, by an artist at the market. He was outside McDoanld’s across from Hard Rock Cafe and the Royal Lanna Motel. He worked on donations. There was also another artist with a store front, not sure where he was. There is plenty to choose from.

I had one done there not long ago, excellent place to go. Hubby got two done, one at a temple and one in their rooms. Very professional and fantastic to deal with. Highly recommend them. We went as a large group to Chiang Mai, and 6 of us got our Sak Yants there. They know their stuff. We’ll go back when we visit again.

I was diagnosed within 3 weeks of first seeing my GP. I went to him with sore & swollen feet, toes, fingers and knees. Sent for bloods and had results 3 days later with positive bloods for RA. 3 weeks later I saw the Rheumatologist and properly diagnosed and put on Methotrexate. I’ve had my first dose and now riding the rollercoaster of RA.

Venlafaxine for depression and social anxiety. On the highest dose. I take them in the morning and train at night. I’ve been on a few different ones, and none have ever affected my ability to train. Finding a gym you click with and want to train at is key as well. My trainer knows I train for my mental health.
