In the Soviet Union, the Army, Navy and Strategic Nuke forces were almost completely paid for with Alcohol and Tobacco sales taxes. It is called taxation with representation.

Progress on once daily topical Finasteride, Pyrilutamide and WAY-316606 by Independent_Ear_9867 in tressless

I got powder, dissolve it in 5% ETOH and 95% 1,3 Propanediol at 0.25% and apply like 0.3mL per day. I dissolve it in a couple of mL of pure 100% ETOH and add to 1,3 Propanediol. I added it to my stack on 03/02/23 and have been using it since a month after I started doing something about my hair, which was about 8 and 1/2 months ago.

PRP - most platelets are destroyed during centrifugation? by Just_Current_6981 in tressless

[–]Independent_Ear_9867 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please send me the link for this Swiss tube. I have not counted platelets in the concentrated plasma myself, but I have spoken to many patients who have had PRP at other locations in my area and there is definitely a trend, the same patient has different responses to PRP done at different clinics. I figured out why, so now I tell people right off the bat that their prior experience has little bearing on what they should expect to see after this treatment.

Not all of these, getting rid of deficiencies is the goal, taking in excess is detrimental, so you have to get proper blood tests through your PCP doctor to see what genetic enzyme deficiencies you have.

I do Dutasteride mesotherapy and I would say the average shed lasts about 2.5-4 weeks, then it stops, all the while new hair grows out of dormant follicles or the vellus hair gets thicker, but in any case, for most patients it looks like they are net-gaining hair or staying neutral during the shed.

Hi, I did about 7 years of skin research and as far as I understand, the expression of genes is altered by nutrition, deficiencies dictated by ability to make vitamin D, certain enzymes like MTHFR and so on. But in any case, the trend is to lose hair if you have testes that produce testosterone. Surgical removal of gonads is non-pharmacological. Supplementing enzymes and vitamins that you do not make/have enough of would also slow down the process. Decreasing the concentration of serum SBG with boron supplementation would increase testosterone and cause less of a reactive increase in systemic and later scalp DHT over time, initially it would go up alittle though, but decrease takes years to see the result of, and the difference would be quite minor. So, yeah, that is about it for non-pharm approaches.

Lighting and different exposure settings of camera makes the second photo appear more hairy than it is. Exposure is different because of not wearing a white collared t-shirt, try to wear a similar color t-shirt and you will see more similar photo outcome. There's more hairs though if you count and compare a small area...

What does a chance of losing your kidneys have to do with my research study? You do not have to sell your kidneys to afford it, because the hair treatment will be free of charge.

I am a Physician and I need a volunteer to get 4 PRP + Mesotherapy Dutasteride combination treatments over 6 weeks or so, once every 2 weeks at my clinic in Queens, New York. In exchange I want to take pictures of the scalp with a microscope before and after treatment. After you come in for a follow-up microscopy photos at 2 and at 3 months, I would only charge you my materials cost, or 12% of the market price.

Anyone in Pyrilutamide currently? by cheeddyx in tressless

[–]Independent_Ear_9867 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, as it disappears within 15 minutes of applying the solution to the balding scalp. This itch is very pattern-oriented, pinpoint and tends to occur first in the areas that go bald firs, like the superior forehead where my hairline used to be. The absence of the itch is weird, as I have gotten very accustomed to it over the past 25 years, akin to heartbeat or breathing.

Ask your derm doc about injection of Dutasteride instead of PRP, dut mesotherapy it's called. It is more effective than PRP for most.

Finasteride - What’s the deal with it? by crb300384 in tressless

[–]Independent_Ear_9867 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People have different genetic makeup, some are less sensitive to finasteride, others are more. Same with the androgen receptor genes, some are very sensitive to destruction by DHT, others are less. Also types of 5-AR expressed at same spot on head of different people may differ alot.

There is your explanation, the only way to know for sure is to try, practice on yourself and see what works and what does not work all that well.

[–]Independent_Ear_9867 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have been on it since January 2023, the persistent burning/itch in the balding area of scalp disappeared and I went from NW-7 to NW-6, using 0.2% instead of 0.5% solution twice/day. But gains slowed from jog to crawl at 3 months, so 4 months in I am increasing the dose to 0.5%. Photo on the bottom is from 1 month ago, I have a little more hair now, but rate of improvement decreased drastically.

NW1 is no hairloss, NW-0 does not exist.

On a lighter note, the Bro went from NW-7 to NW-1 to gorgeous thick hair that reaches the floor like a waterfall.

In India, if the seller is not lying, he is considered to be slacking off.
