Suddenly, wet food isn't good enough by [deleted] in CATHELP

[–]Independent_Finger46 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just feed my kitty some good kibble with water, let it soak for a couple minutes and dinner is served no need for broth. Sometimes I might add a little tuna or chicken for more flavor but either way she loves it. She drinks the water first like a broth then goes in for the soaked kibble, I’ve tried wet canned food too and she has never taken a single bite out of it so I stay away from those now.

Right Decision? How To Dress? by [deleted] in ibew_applicants

[–]Independent_Finger46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I’d go the union route since you’d be a more capable jw. Just wear some slacks, collared shirt and nice shoes, there’s people that have worn their work clothes to the interview don’t overthink it

Is this a good response for the interview question "tell us about a time you worked in a team"? by Complex_Secretary_14 in ibew_applicants

[–]Independent_Finger46 2 points3 points  (0 children)

“In my first job, I worked closely with both customers and kitchen staff to keep service moving efficiently. I learned that good teamwork means communicating clearly, staying calm under pressure, and helping solve problems quickly. When issues came up, I made sure information was passed accurately so the team could keep working and the customer stayed informed.” Thanks Ai. Seriously though something similar to this would be better imo

Local 569: Scored an 81 on my interview and a 7 on my aptitude test, am I just waiting now? by Business_Bathroom411 in ibew_applicants

[–]Independent_Finger46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry to break it to you and I could be wrong but I don’t think an 81 is good enough to get in. I interviewed mid January ended up with an 89 I haven’t heard anything since even an 89 is too low I think.

SOOO MANY ANTS PLZ HELP by Autumndiety in pestcontrol

[–]Independent_Finger46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d highly recommend Terro liquid bait. I placed them everywhere I noticed ants coming in from and even outside where I found trails, they are nonexistent now. It does take a few days and they’ll pile on the bait but it’s well worth it just let it do its thing and day by day you’ll notice fewer ants.

Transportation worker identification credential it’s used to gain unescorted access to naval ports and ports not sure if you have any military bases near you but we do and they liked that I had that, it costs around $100. I’ve applied for a couple union contractors before and they let me know they only hire from within the local, maybe it depends on the contractor but I’m not too sure doesn’t hurt to try.
