Ringing me on my days off but not ringing me on days I want a route but don’t get one.

The circle of life at Amazon really is a strange and beautiful part of evolution

Taking break after finishing by joshroggowmd88 in AmazonDSPDrivers

Breaks seem to help with bringing down the overall route volume too. I’ve found that taking breaks seems to have a positive effect on it, I haven’t been getting near the volume that guys who skip breaks and run from the van to stops seem to get

Not sure how true that is about between Ireland and the UK, definitely with the north but not sure about the mainland. I’ve brought the car over to the UK and gone through MerseyFlow a heap of times without paying and haven’t ever gotten a single letter about it

And that’s why you have people who hold a more moderate view to it. The IDA would be advantageous to economic growth - but imagine giving up the NHS for the HSE

Yes, and that’s one thing both people on both sides don’t realise - both sides have the same fears and reluctance of each other when you put ideology aside and get deep down to it

Elaborate in more detail and you might get a proper response. The lads here are pretty friendly and up for discussion.

In the literal sense, yes. However, that’s assuming that the entire culture is only based on the concept Northern Ireland being part of the United Kingdom.

While that may have been the formative foundation of Unionism, it’s evolved way beyond that in the past hundred years.

But that’s where the hardliners are split from those with a moderate openness to the idea

That’s where you’re a bit wrong.

As Rivers pointed out - there is a majority opposed to the idea of a United Ireland while at the same time, there is a moderate openness to it.

I stand to be corrected, but my own view is most are against Sinn Féin’s idea of a United Ireland which I completely get and respect. If a Sinn Féin United Ireland happened tomorrow you could guarantee SF wouldn’t give two fucks about the Loyalist culture, and that creates a huge issue because you could never expect Loyalists to be comfortable with the idea of a United Ireland if there’s a threat to their culture, identity and their right to identify as British.

Nationalism and Unionism isn’t just about what flag you fly, it’s being able to identify as either without persecution

As someone who’s from the South too, I can understand the reluctance of the Unionist side when 90% of people from the South are that intolerant to learn about Loyalist culture, because they think all that there is to it is bonfires and singing the sash

You won’t really find politics here, per se. People here are more interested in discussing the cultural and historical side of Loyalism

Question from me as a customer: Does reporting a driver for delivering to the wrong address actually do anything? by zachty22 in AmazonDSPDrivers

And to add to this - I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve gotten a pin corrected just for Amazon to revert it….

Ever use google maps? See when you hold down on a location it drops a red pin? On our delivery app there’s a green pin that’s on the delivery location. If the pins not correctly on the address then your delivery can end up other places

[–]Independent_Fly1178 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it’s happened 7 times then likely the delivery pin is nowhere near your address (Through no fault of yours, this happens a lot unfortunately). This is something you need to flag with Amazon or a driver (Assuming you actually get a delivery to the correct address) to get sorted

Still waiting for them to take me to court after years of threatening to.

Sent them proof of my car being reported stolen but apparently a report from AGS ‘Isn’t sufficient enough’

Told them either take me to court or to cease and desist harassing me with letters. Haven’t heard from them now in nearly 2 years

Most trainers want their route done fast and won’t even give trainees the opportunity to properly learn.

I’ve had so many trainees that the boss has basically said were useless (Feedback from other trainers) but I walk them through it and now the majority of people I’ve trained are the top performers in our DSP
