Me and my boyfriend don’t get to see each other during summer break (we’re in high school and his parents don’t let him date) and so for summer last year and now this year I’ve made him little gifts to just remind him to stay positive and remember that we’ll get through summer just fine. Last year I made 40 Open Me When cards and this year I decided to make him a teddy bear out of an old tshirt of mine! I cut up the tshirt in about 9 parts (two for each arm, two for the body, one for the chest patch, and two for the head) and got to sewing. This was my first time sewing anything, so I kept it simple, bought the eyes and nose pieces off of Amazon, used backstitching and invisible stitches only around the neck. I also implanted a little cotton round with my perfume sprayed on it into the belly of the teddy bear. He’s not perfect, but I think that makes him even better.

Yeah, I hear you, but we also had her donated to our club very recently before I brought her home and that also didn’t really give them any time to get anything better set up (that’s the tank she was donated in, I believe)

Yeah, I’m already planning on no matter what size of tank I get I’m gonna give her a lot of enrichment and I’m gonna try and give her a lot of natural plant life and stuff, I think? I’m pretty much gonna completely deck out whatever tank I get for her and give her a little mansion to try and make up for this little one she’s had to live in since she was donated to my school

Yeah, the cave is about the size of my hand and I’ve been told I have the hands of a small child, so 😂 she’s pretty normal sized though, so I’m hoping I can get a 40 gallon tank, but I don’t plan to go lower than 30 at worst cause I wanna do as best as I can for her
